This will be our first trip since we purchased our DVC. We are staying in a 2-bedroom unit at Bay Lake Tower. We will be arriving at BLT around 9:00 am and will be hitting the parks before our room will be ready. Before our trip, we will be spending a couple days at the beach and our thinking of doing a big grocery run (Costco, Target) while we are there to save time instead of doing it at Disney. We will have quite a few items that will need to be refrigerated or kept in the freezer, including steaks, chicken, milk, yogurt.

I know Bell Services will hold our food and deliver it to our room when we get in. Does anyone have any suggestions to make this go more smoothly? I want to make sure the frozen food stays frozen, etc.

When you pack after your days at the beach, pack all the item to be keep cold in one container. Make sure when you turn that over to Bell Services you identify the container to be keep cold, they have a cold storage location.
After you go to the park, get the text that your room is ready, and are in the room; call Bell Services for them to deliver the items (tip expected).

We bring a large black marker and label our grocery bags with our name and "keep cold" or "keep frozen" as necessary.

Can you do this at any resort? We are staying at Saratoga Springs in November and I would really like to get groceries before we check in for time saving purposes.

If the question I answered previously, then yes at an WDW resort.
