I have read a few posts re this but need to clarify. We are going to WDW prior to our cruise and will have a few individually wrapped/sealed goldfish, granola bars, etc. I think I am correct in reading that if we don't use them all at WDW, we can take them on the cruise and carry them back home as long as they remain unopened. Is that right? Or should we just toss what's left before cruise? I don't see us needing them on the cruise. Thanks.

You are fine bringing what you described onto the ship. Sealed, commercially-packaged food is allowed. No homemade foods, open packages, and/or perishable food is allowed.

Also depending on your family small snacks are sometimes nice to have - to take in your bag on port days or to feed the kids in between meals without having to call room service or hit the buffet. Although there is plenty of food on-board there aren't that many small snack options that kids like goldfish, fruit snacks, granola bars, etc.

We did this and we were so glad to have ready to eat snacks in our room right away.

I was really glad to have some granola bars in my bag when we were in port.

I agree you should have some for port days and even on embarkation day while waiting in the port. Every time the kids have had breakfast but they're starving while waiting until we board. I usually pack a few water bottles also (embarkation day, port days, for the cabin). Have fun!

My 7 year old son is autistic and will sometimes only drink Pediasure for a meal. Will we have any problems bringing it on board?
