We got a great rate of 39.90 a night at Amerisuites Calypso Cay Way and think we are going to take it . We usually stay onsite but this deal seems way to good to let pass and we heard some real positive things about this Amerisuites...SO

Help us to really enjoy offsite with your tips and advice.:teeth:

We stayed offsite only once before and it was fine but we are there 10 days and I want to bring some "magic" to our hotel and need advice and suggestions to get us excited about staying offsite!

We will have a fridge, micro and we get breakfast every morning so this is a plus, right!!
:D

Thanks!

Emmy

When we go camping we buy Disney Party decorations from Party City or Target. Paper plates, cups and even streamers and baloons can add just a little extra Disney to your trip.

They also now have Disney cereal, juice and snacks to keep around the room as well.

Make a stop the 1st day at Blez outlet and get your discounted Disney merchandise, like shirts, errings, autograph books, fat pens[so characters can sign easier!] pins for trading, twirly lite things and the got to haves for the kids!!
Now you can tour the parks fight free!!

Have young kids, take a stroller to Share, its a huge walk for 10 yrs and younger!!

Eat snacks often to chase away the grumpy hungries, and sit while you eat to rest those feet!

The above tips are great. :)

Bring a tape or CD player, with your favorite Disney music. Play it in the morning while getting ready and in the car on the short drive to the parks.

Get Mickey ice cream novelties for the fridge freezer in your room. Bring them poolside.

Disney paper/plastic cups are fun for bringing a picnic lunch poolside.

If the kids have those Disney flashlights (shine images in the dark), they're fun to keep in the car too.

Enjoy a leisurely exit at night, after evening fireworks. The crowds are anxious to beat the rest of the line at the buses, boats and monorail. You won't have that problem but you may want to soak up the atmosphere a bit longer, the pretty lighting and music, before leaving at night.

The way I "capture the magic" offsite is to lie in my hotel room before I go to sleep at night and think about all the money I saved by staying offsite. Then, the next morning I spend that money saved at one of the Disney outlets.:p Works like a charm (or should I say pixie dust) everytime;)
