Bringing digital camera, what to do if I don't have enough memory cards?

Like some of you, I take a ton of pics (hold down the shutter at Lights, Motors, Action to get several frames, and then decide which is the best). I find that if I get close to capacity (1MB SD card), then back at the resort I go through the pics and delete unneccessary and or duplicate pics, picking the best ones to keep and deleting less than desireable shots.

All other ideas seem to have been mentioned above.

I just got a 512MB card from bestbuy.com.

It was on sale so it was $44, there was free shipping & there was a $15 rebate on top of that.

On the lowest setting on my camera it has over 2000 pictures (I want to say even more then that). But I will keep it at it's highest setting or 2nd highest & get between 200-300 (can't remember the exact number).

Plus I have a few more memory cards too & I will erase as needed since I can hook it up to the TV to view the pictures.

We just bought the camera 1-2 months ago & went from a 2 MP to a 5 MP but when I was shopping around I made sure the camera I bought used the same cards as my previous camera.

I too was worried about having enough "film" on our trip, except I was really worried because it was a cruise, I couldn't just run to Walmart..lol. Anyway I've a photo maniac, I take tons of pics, of everything. I got a 1gig card assuming I would use it and then some, and I ended up using less than 1/2. I have a 3.2 mexapixel camera. Get a 512 or 1g and you should be fine... on a 512 you'll get around 400-500 pics depending on your camera. Up to 1,000 with a 1g.

What do you buy to hook it up to the TV? How much does it cost?
