Bringing digital camera, what to do if I don't have enough memory cards?

Does anyone know how much it costs to down load pictures to a cd?
Can you do it at the resorts?
Are there any other options? Please inform!!?!!

We did that last time, its 11.00ish at any of the photo stores in the park. It takes them a hour or so if its not busy. We just bought a bigger card for ours as it seems the prices have dropped on Memory Cards so check out that too. Costco had great deals but we ended up getting a good one at Wal Mart.

We take our laptop, but we bought a larger memory card, too.

Go online, and email your photos to your local Walmart for developing. When you get home, your pictures will be ready. I'd suggest that you try it once from home so you'll feel comfortable doing this.

We are buying a 1gb memory card. and we have a few 260mb. Hopefully that will be enuogh. If it isn't we will just use park cd machines. Easier than driving off disney to do it. And I think its worth the money if you need it.

We bought another memory card for about $40. In total, we have 1 GB and over 400 pictures during a 10 day trip. I need the extra memory anyway and don't have to mess with a computer, card reader, etc.

Yes. You put your digital media in, choose the pictures you want printed, crop and edit, then send them to your local Walmart. Your pictures will be waiting when you get home.

You'd need a laptop to do this, I suppose.

Also, don't forget that, unless you've changed it, most digital camera come from the factory at an absurd resolution like 2400 x 1600, which just takes up more space. Setting it to 1024 x 768 (if you have that res. option) helps save space tremendously. For example, with mine on a 256 meg card, set to 2400x1600 gets only 300-ish shots, whereas at 1024x768 gets me well over 750. Hope that helped a bit

This happened to me. I sucked it up and bought a $20 disposable on our last day!!!! Cant be without a camera at Disney!! lol We had our laptop but I didnt realize I had taken so MANY pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was after I had forked over $15 for batteries for the digital the day before at AK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But remember that you lose picture quality when you reduce your resolution.

I am taking my laptop and will be downloading the pix every night. I do have 2 memory cards but if something happens and say, i lose my camera I will still have the pix that were taken.
