HAS ANYONE TAKEN A COT TO A JAMBO VALUE STUDIO?:confused3

I will be in a Value Studio at AKL Jambo house in Sept. (Savanna View Requested) with 3 adults total.

I know that these rooms are a bit smaller than the standard.

Will a cot fit in a Value Studio at Jambo if we also have the couch bed pulled out?

I was considering buying a cot just in case the 3 of us each want our own bed.

The cot that I was looking at buying is 40 inches wide and about 75 inches long.

If that won't fit, will a standard size cot that's around 30 inches wide fit?

go for the 30" one

then make sure that the others know it will only fit (I think) in the hallway - so no bathroom visits or going outside the room - until this person is awake.

there might be room at the end of the bed - but in a value studio don't think so.

A value studio is 49 square feet smaller than a regular studio villa at Jambo House. Usually people post that they are 3 feet short than a regular studio. However, in a 12' wide room that would only be 36 sq. ft. So the room must be more narrow as well. I would say there would not be room for a cot as it would be unreasonable to tell your guests that they could not use the bathroom while someone sleeps in the hall. And would be a safety hazard if you would need to evacuate the room.

If you do decide to bring in a cot, don't forget about the bedding as you cannot get extras from mousekeeping.

We did this once using a blow up twin cot. I had 3 in the room and it was just easier to have the blow up. We had to move the furniture around some but it was not big deal to put it back before we left. Like I said it was tight but you can make it work. Like the poster before said don't forget the linens.

Yeah, I figured that we would have to put the cot in the entrance way but I didn't think it would completely block the bathroom. I figured we could still wiggle through on one side and put it against the kitchenette side?

that's a good point. I didn't realize that you couldn't get an extra blanket or sheet.

Why won't they give you extra blankets? Often my hubby and I use separate blankets eventhough we are on the same bed because we pull them off of each other too much.

That is beyond weird that you can't get a blanket.
I guess DVC is a value, but they eliminate all service huh?

Does anyone have good photos of the layout of the Jambo house value studios?
I've seen a couple pics..but nothing showing the entrance area or a real overview of the room.

thanks for all the help.

Its a timeshare. Timeshares don't usually provide rollaways or extra bedding. Possibly to keep people to occupancy limits as well as to keep the overall dues in line.

Thank you!
