Bringing a 3-year old to WDW

Well, this is a straight-forward question. My co-worker is planning on taking her son to WDW in August, and she was on the fence about it, but I told her it might be a good idea to take him since kids under 3 get in for free. However, her son actually turns three in July. My question is, will he still be charged for being 3 when they go, or does he still get in for free?

Only "under 3" is free. Once you turn 3, you need a ticket. That said, if the birthday is during the trip, they consider them under 3 for the length of the trip.

Since the child turns 3 in July, he will no longer be considered under 3. Hope they have fun anyway.

If they list his age at 3, he will be charged. If they don't, he won't.
