We tried Cape May for the first time in Feb and really enjoyed it. We were on the dining plan so we didn't notice the price much. I'm hoping to repeat it sometime in the future. We loved the crab legs!

LOL! Of course, new members are always welcome! PM me your email address if you'd like me to personalize the club logo for you (I made bag tags for myself, wigd, and jewjubean before our trip ;) )

OOOOP missed this. PMing you! I would love a bag tag ;) Feel free to steal the pic if you need one to drool over or something :rotfl:

Fun update. Can't believe you got into Cape May that quickly. That eco-tini looks so fun!!! Wonder if they have them elsewhere :rolleyes1 Is it odd that I always worry about eating that much seafood at WDW? Something about the seafood and the heat makes me think Pepto may be needed later on :confused3

It was very good! I just can't eat $35 worth of food in one sitting :lmao: so Disney buffets don't work well for me...

You could eat way more than that much at this restaurant.....

We'd definitely eat there again on the DDP! Not sure if we'll do it again OOP. but possibly.

I'll get the bag tag done for you this afternoon when I get home from work. ;) I'm not a big fan of seafood in general, so I generally avoid it everywhere. For some reason, though, I was craving it that night. It was good, but I was left feeling a little bit  for a while afterwards.

Michelle! Do you have dates for that new ticker?

The dates are listed in the text above the tickers, I think...

It's Saturday, March 12-Friday, March 18 next year... our spring break. I might drop off the Saturday night later on, once we're pricing airfare and stuff, but I wanted to make sure we got a CLUB LEVEL room for that week, and we did! :yay:  :woohoo:

Why is it that getting up early is such a miserable experience when going to work, but when the alarm clock sounds at Disney, it’s so easy to hop right up and begin getting ready for the day??? Today, this was again our experience. The alarm sounded around 7:30, as was the case all week. This gave us plenty of time to get ready, and still be at the bus stop or boat launch by 8:00 or so.

So, where were we off to today?

Why, Hollywood Studios, of course!

(Here’s a hint to those of you planning a stay at an Epcot-area resort: they don’t run busses to DHS. You have to either walk or take the boat. We learned this the “hard” way this morning, when we walked to the bus stop and couldn’t find a place for the DHS bus to stop! :lmao: )

At 8:35am, we were first in line at our turnstile, just waiting to be let in. The nice CM opened the turnstile at 8:45, and we headed up to the middle of Hollywood Blvd. to watch the “rope drop” show. Before long, the ropes were dropped, the director had yelled “Action!,” and we, along with the crowd, were headed to our favorite attractions!

DH & I headed to…

Pixar Place!

I jumped in the FP line while DH headed to the standby line. I was 3rd or 4th in the FP line, and our return time was before 10am! Then we headed in to the standby line.

I love the detail in the standby queue… so fun!

I won the first round:

From Pixar Place, we headed down towards Sunset Blvd. I think we stopped for breakfast at Starring Rolls, where we split a cinnamon roll. After breakfast, our FP return window had opened, but rather than ride it again, we headed down towards Rock’n’Roller Coaster to get FPs, and then headed to:

The standby wait was posted at 30 minutes, so we jumped in line. I think the actual wait was a bit shorter, though. It’s been a LONG time since we’ve actually waited in the standby line at ToT, and I’d never noticed some of the detail in the queue:

When the ride began, we saw some ghosts:

And then I was able to get some interesting aerial shots of DHS:

From ToT, we headed over to use our FPs on RnRC, and then to TSM. DH won this round:

At this point, we were starting to get hungry. Since we’re not fans of the counter service options at DHS, we decided it was time to head out.

Where did we go next? How many parks did we make it to today? And would we meet any DIS friends in our daily travels?

Oh wow! You actually had your camera out while riding TOT!:scared1:
I love that ride but haven't thought of taking pics!
Awesome!

We discovered that Starring Rolls has great sandwiches! Best CS lunch at DHS in my opinion!

I take pics on every ride! :rotfl: The sandwiches there do look good, we'll have to try that next time. ;)

Our saving grace for next year is that Easter is very late...

It gets so crazy then!

Oh, then it shouldn't be too bad that week, then. You might actually get lucky since you'll miss the TX spring break, and if Easter is late, then spring break in the Northeast will be late too. :thumbsup2

Sounds like a great morning at DHS! :thumbsup2

It's been so long since I stood in the stand-by line for TSM, I forgot how cute it is.

I am pretty impressed with your bravery in taking pictures during ToT! BTW, did you notice a second set of ghosts during the drop sequence? :confused3 It seems like it was in the final drop-the doors opened, it was dark, and I could see some "shadowy" figures. My sister and I both noticed it, and didn't think we'd ever seen that before.
