Bring double stroller or rent one?

We ended up renting the double City Mini from OSR because we didn't want to have to carry around our bulky double stroller. We loved the stroller, it was pretty light and folded very easily.

Love this thread, We are traveling with a 4yr. + 22mo old in May and I almost NEVER use a stroller. I'm nervous to get a bulky double, when I rarely use the single we have. Any thoughts? Babywearing is also an option, but we are no longer daily wearers... so that is just a comfort/long day issue.
