Equally, it's on a legit disney website that they approve, so if anyone questioned it you can show this as proof...it's more disney affiliated than here...
Just saying, the policy has always been beverages must be carried on. If it was changed, I'm sure they would make a big deal about it.
And that doesn't mean that if their bottles break and get other luggage wet they won't be held accountable for the damage to the other luggage - I've actually seen a "discussion" between officers and a guest because he had put beverages in his checked bags, it had broken, and he was trying to not have to pay for the damage to other luggage around his (and yes, it's obvious which is the luggage causing it).
