Bring back the Zippedy Do Dah Channel!!!

It's a family secret....................ssshhhhhhhhhhhh!
I can't tell..........

Ok, well this is a short funny story. Several years ago, we asked the Grand Floridian for a VCR. Not a problem. We got it and tried to tape them..................WELL, they have those channels blocked on their VCR's so that you CAN'T tape them. So the next year we brought our own from home (we drove obviously) and taped them last year. So I am one happy camper. We have let friends that are planning trips borrow them to watch and they get a kick out of them.

I agree. She came across as an annoying version of Samantha Brown. The first time I watched it was okay, after that it grated on my nerves.

you mean samantha brown isnt annoying...?? Ha ha just kidding...

so they changed that channel around huh... those buggers i liked watching that.. even if it was the same thing...

Actually we found the Zippidy-Doo-Dah channel during our recent trip....
... in Spanish! It still just wasn't the same. I'd like to see come back, or at least be part of the tape loop shared with other items.

I agree the replacement doesn't hold up well under repeated viewing, and of course nobody can replace Samantha!

:( I too really miss the old channel. We caught ourselves last time we were there watching the Spanish channel just for the zip-a-dee music.

I don't like the new channel either! I used to watch the old one from check-in to check-out (much to dh's dismay!;) ) I watched one go round of the new one; and that was enough. The show itself was ok--I just didn't like it playing ALL day!

Wendi,

Considering my wife and I watch our Disney vacation planner tapes from time to time (something which I'd only admit on this site), I would love to have a copy of one of those tapes for my own.

Do you think Santa has a copy he can give to me?

How am I going to know that I'm *really* at WDW without the bouncy little origami castle? They must bring it back!

At least there are still Japanese soap operas. Making up a storyline for those can entertain me for hours.
