Bring Back the Toad !!!!

Recently back from DLR. We LOVED Mr. Toad, and wish
they would return it to WDW.

Also....The DLR version of Space Mountain is GREAT. Hope they rehab WDW
version soon and make the changes to the vehicle, soundtrack and track. Lots of fun !!

Amen! We went to DLR last year and were enjoyed doing Toad again. And I totally agree about the DLR version of SM. It was SO MUCH better than the WDW version. We still talk about it!

At WDW they can't put it back at MK per Disney's own rule that forbids the return of the same ride once its removed.

What about the DL subs ride that reopened? (not exactly the same but it's back)

Alice in Wonderland was still there when I went to DL last November.

I've only ridden SM at DisneyLand. I've been to WDW 5 times and never ridden space mountain. I was always afraid of it being in the dark. Well I got my nerve up in California last year, and LOVED it! Rode it several times. I was looking forward to riding it in WDW in 3 weeks...now y'all have me thinking I might be disappointed. Is WDW versions way different?

Alice is still there, and it is still wonderful!!!! We took so many pictures, we can basically lay out the entire ride, it was one of our favorites.

"Alice" is still at DLR. It's a little ired, but still fun.

"Indiana Jones" may be my new favorite (along with Everest). Great ride. I'd love to see it come to WDW.

POC at DLR is better (IMHO) than WDW. The waiting queue, as well as the 5-10 minutes of additional scenes you go through before you reach the Pirate ship, and the 2nd drop at the start all made it better for me.

Haunted Mansion was identical except for the area where you enter the Doom Buggy. The "funnel" effect they created as you approach the Doom Biggy is not present in CA.

We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. The Monorail station at Down Town Disney was a 5 minute walk from our room. It let's you out in Tomorrow land. Very nice touch !!!

Question for the OP:

Is Space Mountain DL still Rockin'? We loved the added soundtrack in March 2007. We thought it was temporary. Are they still playing the Chili Peppers?

I'm not sure I could recognize the soundtrack, but it was great. Loud, fast, and completely in synch with the ride. We loved it !!

We were at Disneyland in May and loved Toad, Indy Jones Space Mt. etc. I can't believe how great Space Mt. there. Let's hope they rehab the one in the MK some time soon.
