Bring a Laptop computer

Hey Everyone
I am addicted to this site.

I have planned a trip for September @ The CBR. I was think of bringing my Laptop Computer and use the wireless Internet in my room. My wife is a little concerned about leaving it there during the day (When were at the parks). She wanted to know if the safe was big enough for it (I don't think it is). Should we be concerned?
Also has anyone used the wireless Internet in the rooms. Any problems setting up?

HI, We always travel with at least one laptop and sometimes two or three. (I have two "Grown" Children that use theirs constantly!)Anyway we have just left them in the room and they have NEVER been touched. We have also used the wireless internet(but I did not set it up) and it pretty much just requires a call and they give you a code(I think) and charge you! One of the best reasons for traveling with them IMO is that you can play DVDs on them!!(on the plane or airport layovers or DELAYED flights) Joan

First, CBR does not have wireless but requires an ethernet cable to hook up. Also you should invest in a cable lock for laptops. They cost 20-30 and secure it to a piece of furniture. Laptops get stolen from hotels all the time. I haven't heard about Disney but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Were taking a laptop this year. DW has an online class and has to do some posting each week.

We will also use it to download pictures.

We plan to lock the computer in our luggage when we are out of the room.

last trip I took mine to just upload the photo card at the end of every day (I take a LOT of pictures) and never had a problem...
although I didn't leave it out on the desk or anything. I would put it in the case in the closet.

I contacted CBR.. they have a safe at the front desk.. it take two keys.. one key you have and you they have.. and its large enough even for a huge computer they say or they have one that holds as small as a credit card.

I'm bring mine. when we go to the parks it is going in a suitcase with a lock on it and the suitcase goes under the bed.
