Bright Colored Highlights

Last summer I wanted to dye about an inch of my hair some bright color.
Like pink, blue, ect.

We went to Hot Topic and since my hair is so dark they told me, I'd have to bleach it first..

Do you know if there's a way I can get it done without having to bleach my hair.
Like if there's a good enough brand that you can see even with dark hair?

you have to bleach it. theres no way that you will be able to see the color unless you bleach it or atleast get it a lot lighter in the area you want to dye. sorry.
but they have really real looking extensions at hot topic too.
I didnt want to bleach my hair, so thats what I got.

There isnt really anyway to get bright colors on dark hair without bleaching it.
A good brand is special effects but to get the brightest colors you need to bleach it.

I'd suggest the extentions from hot topic. That way theres nothing to regret and no hair to get ruined from bleach. It clips in and reall looks natural. My sister got some bright blue ones and you can't even tell its not real.

Nope. You gotta bleach it. I mean, yeah, you could dye it over your regular hair but it would come out looking like a tint and not a dye. And while that can look neat, it isn't what you're looking for.

So, if you're extemely anti-bleaching (and really, the bleaching isn't much worse for your hair than the actualy dying of it), I'd go with the extensions.
