Brief update on quests and such at DLR

As of yesterday, August 1st:

• Standard Quest cards expire September 30, 2006
• High School Musical Quest reward cards expire September 30, 2007 (yes, 7!)
• Animation Desk card expires September 30, 2007 (again, yes, 7!)
• Gold ears card, available, but not easy to find. Expires September 30, 2006
• Magic mirror card expires September 30, 2006

Print out for 50th quest was left on the coffee table and they would not take the answers without the form.

And lastly, NO PIRATE QUEST. And no one knows a single thing about when or why not out yet. (Although, lol, they did say that they have been made very aware by visitors that WDW has the cards and suggested sending comments to the Contact Us link. yeah, well, just reporting.......)

Pirate quest is out because a friend of mine WENT to WDW and got the QUEST, but answered it totally wrong.

Sorry - I have revised it. The standard quest cards are 2006.

My standard spot for those is the Hatmosphere. It is an outdoor hat stand over in Tomorrowland. In theory, any hat store except the Mad Hatter on Main Street should have them. But, Hatmosphere, that's my tip.

Only Hatmosphere and the two Mad Hatter Shops (on Mainstreet and Fantasyland) are giving them out. No other hat shops or any other shops should have these cards. And as of Sunday, both Mad Hatter Shops were out. Hatmosphere was closed when I went, so I'm not sure about them.

I will however add that for a while the Pooh Corner was giving out Gold Ear cards because they had run out of Red Penny Press cards. Not sure if they still have any left lying around, as they are back to the Red Press cards.

I'm not sure if this information is known yet, but I am going to Dineyland in mid-October and was wondering if there will be a new quest out by then. If anyone knows, I will be really happy!

There is a hat shop up the hill from pooh corner that has the gold ear cards. It is on the left as you come down the hill and before you get to splash mountain. They have had them there for a while and I know they still have some as I picked up 2 from there on tuesday as i noted in another post on an update about disneyland.
