Brief park reports, Buzz updates + park pics

OK, folks. I’ve been lax on my report from both last Sunday and Wednesday. I’ve had some weird things going on in my life lately. Anyway…

Crowds were once again great on both days. Hopefully this continues after Monday. I actually look forward to the day so we can finally begin to get a realistic idea of what the future holds. Nearly every CM I’ve spoken with has expressed concern over the unknown of a post-reservation SWL/DL.

Buzz scoring was beginning to get messed up and by Wednesday it was completely offline. The camera didn’t flash and the kiosks simply displayed “Out of order.” However, by late morning on Wednesday, they were finally working once again. As I mentioned in another post, a CM told me that they’re fixing “everything” on the ride. Hopefully that’s true or at least close to true.

Even though the camera on Buzz was broken and no images came though, I was still able to find and claim my scores. Breaking 2M is always an achievement and pleasure.


Early in the park. It's been impossible to be "first" in the park since guests with SWL reservations have been let in early. Once I get to the top of MS, there are already dozens of guests there.










I took a few years of Japanese in college and it’s always fun to find and help fellow speakers. Weds morning I aided this nice family in their quest to find and get pics with Peter Pan (the one girl had cosplayed Peter Pan and I'd just passed him in FL not two minutes prior to meeting them). I speak much better Japanese than I understand, mainly because most people speak informally, which is more difficult than formal Japanese. So I’ll ask someone something, they’ll understand and then reply... informally. Then I nod, smile and ask where they’re from.




No Buzz pics came through but scores were still available if you were clever enough to find them. Didn't take as long as I thought.
