I didn't see the answer to this in the ticket sticky.

I have an old one day ticket from 2009. If I go to a park and then try to upgrade to a 6 day ticket. Do they use the value of a MK ticket ($105) or the value of a non-MK ticket($97)?

I assume they also can put the ticket on my magic band.

thanks

Is the ticket "new" (never-used?)

2. Don't know. More likely to get the MK price if you visited MK that day,
but the ticket CM may just use her/his own judgement in this case.
(Pixie Dust vs. no Pixie Dust.)

3. It will be connected to your MDE account and your MagicBand will be able
to access it. (Nothing is ever directly "put onto" your MagicBand.)

I don't think this question has come up before. For $8, I wouldn't alter your park plans or ADR plans if it turned out that you got one price at MK, and the other price at the other parks. You only have that one park entry day to upgrade; you can't wait 'til the day after you used your old ticket. Yes, they'll put the ticket on your MagicBand.

The ticket has never been used. It was one we had leftover from an old FD package. I agree about not going out of our way to go to MK our first day but on our last few trips we have been going there regardless of it being a recommended day. We get to WDW around 4-5PM and after unpacking we like to head to MK and get something to eat and watch Wishes.
