I know that traditionally the groom does not see the brides dress but can he see the bridesmaid dress?

Just a strange question I thought I would ask.

No rules against that! :)

I'm not having any attendants, but the last wedding I was MOH in the bride had no problems showing her DF. I can't think of any reason why you'd need to hide it from him!

Yeah I was thinking about showing him mainly for approval puroses since one of my bridesmaids is his daughter and the dress is a little racy...Not to racy. I should post pics of it! LOL...Its gorgeous

If it's something his daughter would be wearing, I highly suggest showing it to him.

Its just a little low cut but shows cleavage a bit. It looks good on her(she is 17) We plan on putting a stitch or two in the bust anyway when we take it to have it tailored.

She likes it so much she wants to wear it to her prom next year!
I said thats cool cuz that will save us $$ on buying another dress!

We don't really have much say as for the way she dresses anyway since she is emancipated. We help her financially though.

Oh yea post the pic Lisa! I would guess that if his daughter is wearing it he will want to see. But I think the only wedding rules you have and the ones you make. Who cares what is "expected" or "suppose to happen", its your day:goodvibes

ONE EXCEPTION I have found. If your FG dress is a carbon copy of your Bridal Dress, do not show the DF! I almost did. :rotfl:

:lmao:
Good thing there is no flower girl in my wedding!
Not cuz I don't want one, but I don't know any little girls except my cousin's daughter but if I have her be the flower girl, the rest of there kids will have to come and they have 5...number 6 is due June 6th! And their kids are kinda unruley...

Anyhow, I showed Stan the dress and he loves it! He kept saying Wow that is a very nice dress! He asked what I paid and where I got them. He was shocked when I said Sears for 60 dollars. They are prom dresses but who cares? They are exactly what I was looking for!

And another note: My wedding dress came in and I look FABULOUS!!!!!!
