Bridesmaid Etiquette

We have 5 girls, I'm paying for 2 outright, as gifts, and then my 2 cousins will most likely have my uncle pay for them, and then my SIL will probably pay for hers. I want to pay part of it, but I'm not sure. I have no idea about BM gifts. They all have such different tastes and I'm not sure what to get them. Maybe I will treat the hair, if they want it done. The only thing I'm requesting they do is wear the dress. I have no shoe, hair (except NO PROM DOs), or make up preference.
