Now that my wedding and Disneyland honeymoon are fast approaching I am wondering about the Bride & Groom Ears. I'm assuming I have to purchase them, but where do I get them from? And can anyone buy them or do you need some proof of your wedding? Besides the cuteness are there any real benefits to wearing them? Anyone have experiences they'd like to share?

I think that I have asked this before, but I can't find the thread.
Thanks!!

Anyone can buy them, my step-mom called a store in Downtown Disney and had them shipped here early so they could be decorations at my shower, so I'm sure anyone can.

as ashley said, anyone can buy them!

and as far as benefits are concerned, i wouldn't "expect" anything. it really seems to depend on the CM's! we got a few little perks here and there, but they were always surprises to us when it happened.

best wishes!

I saw them in many stores. I even saw some cute little bride-want-to-be's wearing them! I didn't get them, had a visor with bride written on it. But like someone else said it depends on CM. We had a few perks here and there but nothing truly out of the ordinary.

You can order them ahead of time through mouseshoppe.com, but you'll pay more than if you buy them in the parks. The nice thing about having them early is that you can waer them on the plane. We're real hams and flew SW and they made a big deal of us being on our honeymoon...even gave us a bottle of champagne. As another poster noted, you can't go in expecting things to happen but we were really fortunate and had lots of pixie dust sent our way :) The highlight was being chosen as the Grand Marshals in the MGM parade. We also go VIP passes for fantasmic. We got champagne flutes from CRT, many Magical Memories certificates, candy and signed pics left in our room, a perfect table at Rose & Crown for Illuminations, we were extras in the Backlot Tour....it was awesome....regardless of what extras you get, have a wonderful and memorable honeymoon :)

Thanks for all of the advice and great ideas. Wearing them on the plane is such an awesome idea! I didn't really think to expect anything, but it's one of those rumors you hear. So I figured I'd check with the experts. Thanks again for sharing your stories with me. :flower:

Don't bother ordering then through Mouseshoppe, unless you want to pay a mark up. You can call WDW Merchandising and they will act as personal shopper and purchase/ship anything from Disney that you want with no mark up. You pay the exact price and exact shipping, just as if you were shippping it home from your resort.
