Bridal shower themes

I am helping host a bridal shower in the later summer. The Bride will be using fall colors (burgundy and tan dresses and mums for the flowers). I am looking for ideas on themes for the Bridal shower that would incorporate fall colors into the theme.

Also what games (not the toilet paper dress) do you recommend. I am thinking Bridal Bingo and word scramble.

I have not been to a bridal shower in a long time.

The colors do sound very nice.

What interests do the bridge and groom share? Maybe that could help us come up with a cool theme. Other than "Fall y'all".

The bride is a huge Winnie the Pooh fan, but that will not be a good theme. I do not know the groom. This will be a bridal shower for the bride's side of the family and friends.

I helped plan a bridal shower for a friend once that was also fall-themed. The shower was held at a farm, so the theme was apples. The centerpieces were baskets of apples and each table name was a type of apple (Granny Smith, McIntosh, etc). We had apple-shaped cookie cutters as the favors, with apple cookie recipes attached (and one per table with an apple pie recipe - the person who got that got to take the basket home.) The place cards were apple shaped, hung from a paper tree with leaves in all the fall colors. (This was pre-Cricut - I would have done things so much better now!)

For games, we also did a 10 question quiz about the bride and groom - things like Where did they meet? and Where did they go on their first date? The winner was the guest who got the most answers correct.

I have looked around the internet and one theme I keep seeing is "Fall in Love". Funny you are mentioning the cookie cutters. One thought I had was to give out two cookie cutter - one a leaf and one a heart.

The event will be at my home, so no "tables" like the PP talked about. We will have about 20 people.
