We play a fun game of love trivia. It is a fill in the blank kind of game. I usually come up with ten questions about different things like:
How many times was Elizabeth Taylor married?
Aerosmith found love in this unlikely place....
Shakespeare says "Better to have loved and lost than....
Who sparked the Trojan war and had the face that launched a thousand ships?
You can make your own questions. It is really fun. We have also done a wedding word scramble with all wordsassociated with bridal showers, weddings, and honeymoons.
My favorite game is the gumball game. You ask the groom a bunch of questions when the bride is not around. Typically we ask questions about favorite movie, name of first pet, first job, first car, name of first kiss, etc. Record the answers on paper and swear him to secrecy. At the shower, ask the bride-to-be the same questions about him and every time that she does not answer correctly, she has to put a small gumball or marshmallow in her mouth. It is hysterical and makes for funny pictures. My husband calls it "Who knows the heimlich?" because it can get a little scary if there is too much candy in the girl's mouth. Obviously use your judgment and cut the game short if it is too dangerous looking.
Have fun!
