:cheer2: YAY! Confirmed wedding date for May 6th 2011! Super excited... wondering how many days in advance my bridal party and I should arrive though!!??? :cheer2:

We are getting married on a Tuesday and arriving on Saturday. This gives us time to run any final errands (like pick up items for the welcome baskets and replace anything lost/damaged in shipment.)

We asked our friends/family to arrive on Sunday (two days before). We're getting married in December so there could be bad weather and it gives Monday as a last last minute arrival date.

We also made sure we had a business day available in case there is an issue with the wedding license.

The DF's grandmother said she is flying in on Monday regardless, but that is another matter all together....

We had non-FL people arrive the Thursday before (our wedding was a Monday @ 2:30pm). We arrived the Friday before. Our bachelorette/bachelor party was Saturday, rehearsal+dinner Sunday. HTH!

Our wedding is on Monday and we are arriving on Saturday with most people arriving that day.

thanks everyone!! this really helped i was a bit anxious about the issue when i posted this but i feel better!

thanks djkidkaz! I love you!

Our wedding is on a Thursday, and all of our guests/wedding party will be there by Monday. It kind of works out nice, they will be there from Monday to Friday for their vacation.

Congrats and welcome!!

You are getting married on my birthday btw!!!

My bridal party and the guests are pretty much all coming in on the Saturday and Sunday before the wdding (which is on a Wednesday) - but really they are only doing so because we are using the wedding as an excuse for our yearly family trip :) I think a 2 days is sufficient for anyone coming from out of town.

congrats!!

Our bridal party and family/friends are arriving the day before our Thursday wedding! Some are going 5 days early to hang out at the parks...but overall everyone else is going the day before. We are only going to be there 2 days before. We don't have to worry about flights because we are driving :goodvibes

Our bridal party arrived on either Friday afternoon or Saturday (at their discretion) and the wedding was Monday morning. I got there on Wed. before, and my MOH got there on Friday morning. I had a tea party Sat. afternoon and welcome dinner on Sunday, so they were all there for that. But, I didn't think I could dictate when they arrive if they're paying for the accommodations and taking time off of work. Obviously, you can ask, but some may not be able to get there too early. I know mine weren't.

My wedding is on a Monday and we are arriving the Thursday before. I don't have a bridal party but most of our guests are arriving either Saturday or Sunday. None are flying because we all live in FL so the close arrivals are no problem. If people were flying I would like a few days earlier as a cushion for delays or cancelled flights.

We arrive on Sunday and our wedding is on Wednesday. Our Guests are all arriving on Monday. I don't think that your guests need to be there any more than 2 days before hand though. The more time they are not there..the more time you and DF have to be alone :)

You are the day before me! Congrats! Most of our wedding party are getting there 1-2 days before the wedding.

We are arriving Saturday morning for our Monday wedding, and I am asking our wedding party to arrive at some time on Saturday as well, as the rehearsal will be on Sunday. The rest of our guests I am telling to arrive whenever they like, but because we are doing a DP for our wedding party on Sunday, I would really like them all to plan on being there Saturday, that way if they face delays, they should still be there in time. I think 2 days before is plenty.

We are arriving on Thursday for our Monday wedding. Most of our guests are arriving on Saturday and pir rehersal is on Sunday. We wanted to have time to get the marriage license before the wedding.

We are getting married on a Saturday, and arriving Thursday....

Congrats!
