Edited to add: Okay, now she is getting difficult. She is upping the demands to include a cherry snowcone for herself. She is so difficult! She just has no idea what we went through to get the negotiations to where they currently stand. If she keeps making such unrealistic demands, this is not going to work out as well as we planned.

A Catholic boy from a close knit Portuguese family.
About 5'7"-5'8", medium build. Likes to run.
Blue eyes, thinning hair (I keep telling him bald guys are hot!)
Sports fan, enjoys cold beverages, enjoys a good meal.
Not a smoker, no addiction probems (except the Disney thing), has not done time in prison. Witty and kind. Shy, I think. Travels well, doesn't belch in public, so-so dresser (needs a woman's influence).
Has WONDERFUL friends.

So, the thinking until now was if Brian found someone to go with, great. If not, he'd likely cancel his reservation. But now, call me crazy, let's say, hmmmm, Brian came anyway. Let's say, hmmmm, he switched from Sports to Pop. Let's say we pay you guys to Brian-sit (2 snowcones, 2 goats and a toaster oven). Or there's some accidental meeting with said love potion.
I don't know, this is either pure genius or completely illegal!

Hey Rox - FYI when she said "red crocs" she meant the red crocs clogs!!!!! Not a real red croc !!!!! (being a nurse you should know that) Since we got off the phone I have not stopped laughing once!!!!!!!!!!! I am trying to read this all to Bo and he can't understand a word I have said because I can't talk and laugh at the same time. You crack me up!!!

PS - for all you ladies out there - I know Brian and he IS pretty cute !! If I wasn't going with my husband at the same time I just might put in a bid!! Keep your eye on the DINGS !!

There are no bids currently on the table for Brian from RI. Offers that include farm animals will no longer be considered (I've had complaints). I can provide a list of references in addition to the above post. I suggest we move on this ladies, none of us are getting any younger.

I'm gonna say our Brian is 5'7" - 5'8". He digs roller coasters. I was gonna go with the standard 4 slice bread toaster, keeping in mind, BRIAN is the prize (the toaster was just supposed to close the deal).

I just had a brainstorm. I've been reading about this "secret green club" where disboarders identify themselves by wearing green paint chips or something...kinda weird. Anyway, what if, DanenRox, The Shagley's, Bo & Rebecca and OUR BRIAN go to WDW in September. Now, I'll see to it that our Brian wears a certain color hat, or shirt or some such thing. That way, all of YOU will know it's Brian, and you'll whisper to each other "I think that's Brian from RI", "that must be Brian from RI". Of course Brian won't know he's being stalked, just like he doesn't know he's being auctioned. I'll have to figure some way to accept bids at that point...maybe paypal.

I would like to put on the auction block our dear friend: one Rhode Island Male, 33 years old, homeowner, gainfully employed, HUGE Red Sox Fan, good teeth, loves his parents, never married, no children, fan of Disney. Must sell because 3 adults traveling together no longer works (when 2 are married to each other). Will consider all offers.

My friend Joy just read this post and her comment was "He had me at gainfully employed".

I will remove my request for goats (I wasn't going to do anything lewd with them, REALLY, I just wanted them to keep my lawn mowed - okay perverts, I don't mean anything lewd by "lawn mowed" either).

RO80 - will you be there at the same time? Even if there isn't romance in the air, it would be a blast if we could all get together at some point.

Hey Shagley - my husband and I will be there from Sept. 22-26. I think Rox and Dane will be there from the 24th-29th. We would love to get together!! This sounds like a lot of fun!! Bo and I are staying at the Boardwalk right across the way from Rox & Dane at the BC. The BW is a good place to get together for drinks etc. Sounds good to me. I'm looking forward to it. Keep me posted - you too Rox!!

Whoops! I go away to WDW for a few days and look what I miss!

I'm single, from RI, nonsmoker, 34, own my own toaster and WDW annual pass.
Too bad I'm not arriving at WDW until 9/29! Perhaps y'all should stay at WDW instead of heading over to Daytona Beach.
