Anyone taken a ride on Breathless or the pontoon? The price seems reasonable. But I read comments of the smoke being so bad it was unbearable. Wanted to hear from some others

me & my fh2b have taken both cruises on the breathless (epcot firework cruise) & the pontoon (moonlite dinner w/ catering from the yc) and enjoyed both. i dont remember there being any problem with smoke but i do remember the romance of the evenings. we definetely thought it was worth the $ and are planning on doing it again during our wedding celebration. best of luck.

Can you tell me a little more about having dinner on the pontoon boat? I was hoping to do something similar from the GF. The Grand is pretty expensive, but if they could do dinner on a pontoon, that might work. Any suggestions?

We got engaged on an Illumination cruise on a pontoon and smoke wasn't a problem. I think it MAYBE could be if it's windy that night or something but if not we were VERY close to the fireworks and didn't get smoked out or anything. When we were on our boat we saw another boat ( a bigger sized one not a pontoon) that was having dinner and it looked REALLY neat and romantic BUT since it was a bigger boat they parked it behind all the Pontoons. Oh and also when our captain parked our boat for the show, we were next to the breathless and it is SO cute!! (um. . .can a boat actually be considered cute?) Anyway, we are hoping one day to do another Illuminations Cruise but next time on the breathless. I hope this bit of info helps!

I tried getting prices on food and such by calling wdw-play...the reservationist I spoke too seemed a bit clueless. Who did you all arrange your event with?

when we did the pontoon at the yacht club we ordered dinner through yacht club catering, we had pasta with chicken, dessert & wine. i'm sure if you call the yacht club they could help you 407-934-7000.

Hi there... my daughter and I went on breathless to see the illuminations.... it was a rainy night though - but that was okay, we just put on our ponchos and made the best of it.

The boat stopped under the bridge to watch so we were out of the rain for that..... there was no smoke that I saw/smelled??

I would recomend it ~ have fun!
