Breathing Machines at First Aid

I posted this in the Tips thread also, but I'm wondering if the First Aid locations in the parks have breathing machines. FIL is too stubborn to bring his to the parks, but he has mild COPD and may need it. Any info?

This would be nice to know for me too. DS 8 has asthma and we can take his inhalers but the nebulizer machine always works best. We will take it with us to the hotel but I am not lugging it around the parks.

I'd love to know the answer to this, too. DS2 gets acute asthma with a chest cold. I hadn't really put that particular concern on my list of things to fret about, but it's there now, lol.

Sorry to hear that Kara. I'll bet they have it there but if you called I'm sure they can find out for you.

They do have nebulizers there, at least they did in August. We just needed to bring our on tubing and mask.

You should ask this over on the disABILITIES board, there are people there that would have experience with the first aid stations and what is available.

When we went in 2006 we took DS's nebulizer just in case of an attack. When we got to the parks we went to the first aid station and left it there for the day. The woman who was at the desk was very nice and very understanding of our wanting to have it "just in case." Fortunately we never needed to use it, but as any parent of a kid with asthma, you just never know.

I never thought about taking out own and dropping it off at first aid.
