1. Follow this link:http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitcdplan.aspx
2. Preorder your CD using your credit card
3. A code will be emailed to you
4. When you return from vacation and order your photos, enter that code to get the $99 rate
5. When you go to your photo shoot, print out the 2nd confirmation email to get the $25 rate

I hope that is clear enough and didn't confuse you! Let me know if it makes sense.:goodvibes

Thanks for this link! I still have to preorder our PP for our next trip. :goodvibes

step 4. Does this mean you are not charged the $99.00 when you return and order photos?

Hmm... I'm actually not sure. I entered the credit card information but I don't know when the charge applies- when you sign up for the preorder or when you actually place the order for your photos.

I'll check the Visa and post back here, but maybe someone else knows the answer to that?

Yes, that is what it means. You pay $99 when you pre-order and nothing when you order the photos.

I've ordered the CD and have the email confirmations, but there is no note at the bottom indicating the photo session is $25. So how much is the photo session going to be? I called and the man I talked to was absolutely clueless. He even called Saratoga Springs, Sarasota!

Your session should be $75 if you bring a copy of your email confirmation.

I was part of a photo share and had a GF photo session. It turned out extremely well. My e-mail confirmation did not state the $25 session fee, but I nicely asked and our photographer let us have it. I'm not sure if it was because GF has the $25 sitting fee sometimes, or he was just being nice. I was pleasantly surprised. I still would have paid the $75 for the fee because I love the setting, the resort and we don't usually get a pic taken all together. The pics came out wonderful. We wore black t-shirts and they look great with the sand. Our photographer said it's suggested not to wear black, but I guess I hadn't read that. Oh well, I'm kind of glad I hadn't heard that. So, if it's not on your e-mail, ask nicely and maybe you'll get the $25.

I was thinking of wearing black shirts...could you post some of your photos? When was your session & what time?

Lastly, although I have gone through this thread, I may have missed what is happening now...I just preordered the CD, so I have the $25 sitting fee at GF...my question is...will I get a CD then or will the photos be added to my PhotoPass card?

Thanks

The official policy is that you will receive only a CD with your photos. In actuality, most photographers have been giving the CD and the PhotoPass card.

We are planning on wearing navy shorts and white polo shirts and our girls dressed in navy polo dresses that I picked up at Target for around $4 each (clearance). I hope this ends up being OK. I think black would be fine!

Our appt. was 4pm. It was a cloudy day and rained in the early afternoon. I was nervous that we wouldn't get any beach shots because of the sand being wet, but we lucked out because it stopped and the sand was fine. The clouds really helped with our squinting. The sun is so bright there. The black looks great on the beach, but doesn't really pop on the grass photos. I would love to post some, but I can't figure out how to do it. Someone earlier on this thread posted some pics of them wearing black. It's a good example of beach vs. grass shots.
Good luck!

Also, I should have added that when we went to GF on 11/12, our photographer gave us a CD and a photo pass with our pics on it. I am part of a photoshare, so I was happy to have the CD when I got home. I went out and got copies made. I was very pleased with the results.
Smile!

I prepurchased our Photopass CD in August. We will be in WDW the first week of December so past the 60 days expiration that has been mentioned here. I had sent the Photopass people an email a week or so ago and never received any response. I left them a voice mail yesterday afternoon and got a callback last night while we were out to dinner.

The lady informed me that the only way I could have preordered the CD was if I had gotten a code off of a blog or a non-WDW website. She said that they send out codes to select guests a few weeks before their booked vacation to eliminate the possibility of having to deal with resetting a code that might be past the 60 days. I tried telling her that I went straight to the Photopass website and ordered it myself and then received the emails with the code and information on how to order the CD once we return from our trip. Since we were out to dinner I naturally didn't have my email so I couldn't read anything to her from the emails. She was very insistant that I could have not gone directly to the website to preorder the CD.

Am I losing my marbles or were she and I not talking about the same thing? I even mentioned that we were obviously not talking about the same thing and then she said "We are talking about a preorded Photopass CD, correct?". I'm not sure if I should call or email them again or just go on our trip (which is with extended family), use the Photopass as normal and then try to deal with it after we get home or what.

Any thoughts or ideas? TIA

I think (and could very possibly be wrong) there is confusion because although you ordered it from the photopass website or something that looks like it, there is no link to the offer on the general public photopass website or at least not one that i found. I think the person you were tlaking to should have been a little more helpful but I would just go, enjoy your trip get the photos taken and deal with it when you come back. As soon as you come back, because it does take a while to resolve an you wouldnt want your photo's to expire while working it out (even thought I think they can get them back)

I actually spoke to someone and she was noticably irritated at my request to reset the code. SHe said that she couldn't do it now because it couldn't be reset again??:confused3 She told me to wait and call to have it reset a week before I order. I told her that I really would like to do it now as we will be leaving in 2 weeks and don't want to have to deal with the hassel during the holidays and potentially losing my pictures. She still refused and I am simply annoyed with the whole thing. It is not like Disney isn't making a fortune of the cds anyway!!
