Breaking NEWS PHOTO SESSIONS!!!!!! :-)

We were able to pay $25 for each photo shoot. All that I had to do, was show proof that I had pre-purchased the photo cd. I just took along a copy of the email that they send you after you order the cd.

You do not purchase the photo pass photo card, the first time that you have your photo taken by a photo pass photographer, they will give you the card. The only thing that you will need to purchase will be the photo cd.

Subscribing! I am intrigued by all the information here. Have a trip planned for November and am trying to collect as much info as possible. All the pictures turned out sooo beautiful. Can't wait to have a family photo done. DD is 2 now, and we don't have notta 1 photo of all of us! What better place to have it done than the Happiest Place On Earth?

I'm thinking about this for our upcomming trip in December.

It sounds great and is really a bargain....

BEach Club is now booking, number is 407-934-1449. Sounds like they are taking pictures now too. I booked mine for July 29th can't wait.

Thank you! :)

Kewl!! I can hardly wait to see what kind of shots they take there! :goodvibes

Beach Club?! AWESOME! I am calling right now to book for our August trip!!!

Just heard back from the Beach Club regarding portrait sessions - they are booking through July at this time. They will be calling me back to book my August date as soon as it becomes available.

Yay!!!!!

scanne - I booked our July photo session the other day for BC. They told me they only book 30 days in advance. If you don't get a return call, call back 30 days from the date you want.

OK, so going in August but only doing one day in the parks, maybe a water park too, so the the photopass CD doesn't make sense for us. If I don't get the photopass CD, the sitting fee is $50, then how much for each picture? Or does the $50 include the CD with the pictures on it? I'm confused for how this works if I decide not to get the photopass.

Also, one of my kids is special needs. To those who have done this, do you think the photographers could deal with that?

Yeah, I was wondering what kind of shots they would take there too. Can anybody who is real familiar with BC make a good guess at what you think would make good backgrounds? Beach? Pier? What about inside shots? Any ideas?

The $50 does not include the CD; photos from the Disney site run about $12.95 and up (very expensive). I would look for a photopass share here on the dis boards. So basically you are paying $50 for the session and to look at your photos; it would benefit you for either a share or to pre-order to get the $25 session fee and the CD would cost you $99.95. There are photopass photogs at the water parks along with the theme parks so in the long run you might get more pictures that you would think.

I agree! Definitely not a great deal to pay the sitting fee and buy prints. It would probably cost the same (or even less!!) to pre-purchase the CD and pay the $25 sitting fee. We also took at least 40 PhotoPass pictures during our day at MGM (can't start calling it DHS ) alone, which we doubled with edits and embellishments in the site.

Subscribing . . . very interested in a holiday photo shoot at GF during our December trip.

Is Wilderness Lodge doing phot shoots yet? I thought I read somewhere they were going to be doing them also.

I think that there are some pretty spots along the beach, with either swings or benches to sit on. Also, they could pose people sitting with the tall grass behind them (like I've seen in photos from the GF). The dock would make a nice spot, too. I even think the walkway to the bus stop is a spot that might make a nice photo.

And of course SAB has some really pretty spots with rocks and flowers ...

As far as indoors, the Solarium is so pretty and quiet ... I think it would be a great place for photos! There are also little spots along the various hallways that have seating, but I don't know if they would work for the photo sessions.

Anyway, I can hardly wait to see what the photos look like! :)

I am planning on booking a photo session at the BC for our August trip. It will be myself & my DS and my sister & her DS. We can't decide what to wear! I was thinking we could all wear khaki/beige bottoms and each of us wear a different color "Life is Good" t-shirt with a summer theme. Then I thought the boys could wear blue "life is good" t-shirts and my sister and I can wear yellow. My DS has the blue shirt with 'jake' on the boogie board, I have yellow with the beach chair & umbrella. My sister has yellow with a daisy and her DS has blue with a baseball. What do you think? Or should we stick to one color? Or should my sis and her DS wear one color and my DS and I wear another?

Oh, decisions, decisions!

DiznEeyore - Thanx for that info! I've only seen photos of BC and tho I know it's a beautiful resort I really couldn't picture it for a photo session. Sounds like it would be a great setting!
