Breaking NEWS PHOTO SESSIONS!!!!!! :-)

can someone tell me how to post my pictures please? thanks for the help if you can :)

You'll need a photo hosting site (like photobucket) to upload your pictures to. Then once you have your pictures on there you copy the link to the picture you want posted, use the "Insert Image" icon on here (looks like a mountain), paste the link to the photo and viola that should do it. If your picture doesn't show make sure that you only have one [/IMG] in front of the photo link address and only one at the end of the photo link address.

thanks a bunch! I'll get my photo cd tomorrow and will give it a try!

We had our session in early August at the Poly. I did try to request a photographer after reading about Richard on this thread. They told me I could not request a photographer. I was disappointed in our photographer and pictures. (One of these days I will try to post them). We were rushed and when she said we were just about done, I thought "is that it?". It did begin to sprinkle, but I still expected more.

We had a photoshoot at the Poly on 8/23 ... the day Fay really kinda left Orlando. Needless to say, it was in the rain! We had so much fun. I really think being in the rain made it more 'us' if that makes sense!

Here are some of my favorite shots ...

GSM - thanks for sharing your pics! I'm glad that you liked them. Who was your photographer? The ones we got taken while it was lightly sprinkling have water spots all over them. :( Thanks!

My son remembered ... it was Luis. He was very good about going out into the rain with us. He didn't care at all about being wet but was worried about the camera. Only one of our pictures ended up totally fogged up and I didn't see any water spots. I am sorry that yours didn't turn out. We really had fun in the rain.

We had a shoot at the Poly a few weeks ago, we had to reschedule because of hurricane Fay and these were taken at 8.30am. We had 105 photos taken and except a few that were blurry when the lens steamed up and a few squinty/shadowy photos we were very pleased with them all :thumbsup2

Here are just a few..........

Love the hammock shot!

I am really enjoying all your beautiful family photos :goodvibes ! Thx to everyone so much for sharing!! :thumbsup2

We will be doing the Spirit of Aloha dinner show at Poly followed by a Wishes cruise. Needless to say, perfect opportunity for family gand gathering photos :goodvibes . I only wish I didn't have to wait till 30 days out to book.

I would really appreciate some advise as for appt. time. Would you try to book at 4pm before dinner, or 7pm after dinner? I'm thinking about sun at 4ish and if we wait till ater, it too dark by 7pm?

TIA, I appreciate all the advise I can get.

I would recommend doing it before dinner. That way if dinner runs late nobody will feel rushed and nobody will have food on them or in their teeth (would happen to my family). And I would think that 7pm at the end of Nov. will be dark already.

Thx bunches LilGMom! I checked the time of sunset in Fla when we'll be there and to my surprise it is 5:30 all that week. DUH, what was I thinking ?!?!?! So we will definitely need 4ish or earlier! :goodvibes
I hear you about the Luau food! :rotfl2:

So, has anyone experienced their photo shoot who booked AFTER the great change-over? I was just wondering if anyone had tried to use the confirmation email to get the $25 price instead of $75 and if you have been able to convince them to give you your pics on a card instead of a CD.

We had our photoshoot at the Poly on Saturday evening (6:30 pm). I rec'd a call on Friday evening confirming and reminding me to bring my email as the prices had gone up. When we checked in they were advertising the normal photopass info, no signs about only getting those pics on one cd. I told the person calling that we were on our second honeymoon, having just renewed our vows on the disney cruise and she said she would make a note. When we got there, we were way early, so we just walked around inside the poly for a bit. When we did check in, our photographer wasn't ready yet (but it was still before our time). A few minutes later she came in and we paid our $25 (plus tax) to the cashier. We were then on our way. She was an amazing photographer. She took more than 50 photos of the two of us. Some with our bride/groom ears and some without. Some with the castle in the background, the Grand Floridian and the poly in the backgrounds. Most were outside, but she made a point of getting us so we weren't looking into the sun as much as possible. She chided herself for getting a person in one of our photos, but we had many more to choose from. All in all, we had 52 photos, which she put on one photopass and then copied them onto another so if by chance anything happened, we'd have a back up one. I can tell you, I personally contacted a local photographer to do a photoshoot for us. A very well known one whose rates are very good. It would of been $250 for an hour or so of his time. We would have gotten all the photos on a cd (he does photoshop some) and if we wanted, could of had them posted on the internet. Due to expenses, I cancelled him and went with our Poly photoshoot. Our photographer was very professional, helpful, kind. I can't wait to get my cd to post some pics!

yes, we had our's done on monday, 9/8. showed email, got discount, no problem at all. they put the pix on photopass card and I got to do the enhancements. and even more important - I'm doing a photoshare from the budget board so it wasn't even my name on the email and they still gave it to me - this was at WL. best $25 ever spent for a lifetime of memories with family pix with first child.

So they let you take your pics at WL? I was wondering because the email says GF.

I would love to see your pics at WL. That is my favorite resort!

For anyone who is getting their photos at the WL - did anyone have inside photos taken? I haven't seen any and was just wondering. (Do they take photos inside if it rains or can you cancel then?)

We had ours done with the discount on Sept. 14th at the BC. Our photographer was great with the kids, and took us to several locations, though I had to request some photos on the beach.
