The Dis was really slow last night so I didn't update about the stamps.

By the time I'd posted my original message, I'd already called up the post office and spoke to the manager. I advised her that I'd gotten extra stamps. She freaked out when I said it was $75 worth as that is a heap of extra stamps. She thanked me for being honest and asked if I would drop them in next time I was at the mall. No hurry...but in the next week or so.

I won't be heading there till next Monday, so I still have them.

I would have handed them back in any case....I'm one of these people that hate owing money and hate knowing thinking that someone else may be sweating over a mistake like this. :goodvibes

Yeah!!:thumbsup2

Why two weeks?

I guess I didn't post anything about the call I got yesterday. Evidently he has caught a respitory infection and can't be adopted out until that has passed. It could be a week, two weeks, it just has to take it's course. :headache:

I know this having to wait and see if we "pass" is killing me. Besides I want him to have time to adjust before we leave to go to Vegas.

Franandaj - Love all the cat fuurniture! Looks like a cat paradise!

Rainy cold night here but that's so much better than worrying about snow like we did for our trip in December 2007.

New washer and dryer coming tomorrow! We actually had to look long and hard to find an agitator washer and a dryer that would let us choose the drying time. Our current set is only a year old and top of the line Maytag but the washer leaves a residue on dark clothing even when we clean it with those special cleaners every so often and it really, really wrinkles clothing. The dryer doesn't let you set dryer times to whatever you want, just to predetermined cycles.

After this say goodbye to 33,333 post!

It's interesting to me because I keep hearing on the news that CPS (the public school system here) is fighting with the teachers union about pay raises and such and now that I see how much they're making, I'm like "...really?" They say they're underpaid, but I think that's a really good salary, especially to start with.

Show the teachers what teachers in Utah or Idaho make, it should stop thier complaining.

You sure didn't let the repeating digits hang out together for long. :)

Have they been to the house yet?

She will come and bring the cat. If we pass she'll leave him.

Thanks Kimall. Mac really loves his furniture, every day he spends a good bit of time running up and down and in between. He does acrobatics, but he would have more fun with a friend.

Don't you mean Mac does arocatics?

In the revolving door at my house and out again....soon. :faint:

What joy to only visit your own home.

Whats for dinner? We had soup and grilled cheese. So warm and yummy

We had this thing called "Joan Bergner's Sausage Casserole" the namesake of the recipe was someone that they knew when Fran was a kid. Before her mother died she wrote down the recipe, it involes Lipton Chicken Soup, and other stuff, but it's pretty good.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: cute! He is very funny as he goes in and out of the cat trees!

Here are some pics from a street that if you live there you are required to decorate every year.
