I'm back to proper work hours from tomorrow. Won't be around so much.

I might check in from the smart phone at lunch times; but I try not to abuse work priviledges too much.

These pictures were taken from the Fish Bowl in the Melbourne Aquarium. I think Skiingfast specifically requested pictures of the reef....and I have some in the collection.


The Melbourne Aquarium is the building (with the blue fish on top of it) directly along the Yarra River.

I had one of those work functions to attend and was hopeful that we might have access to the whole of the aquarium. Sadly, all we got was access to the Fish Bowl.


The entry to the Fish Bowl looks like this...

And if you stay in the passage, you'll eventually get to see the fish swim by...

I'd post a picture of the inside of the Fish Bowl...but I have a heap of work colleagues in those pictures. Suffice to say, it really is like being on the inside of a fishbowl, with top to bottom glass that would take up 80 - 90% of wall space. Lots of glass to look through to the tank containing...

And two of my dinners from the last couple of days...


DS and I shared the chicken Involtini and had a chicken sausage each. DH was left to fend for himself...he had told me that he "wasn't hungry", so I decided it was time for festival a la pollo.

Tonight's dinner.

What a day...
Had a headache all day...which was nasty eyes bulging migraine for about 4 hours of it
Was reasonable/ok for about 4 hours.
But I didn't take another dose of meds before I left the office (as I couldn't remember if I was at 4-5hours yet) and was feeling nasty when I got home
Mum took one look at me and apparently I was white as a ghost.

Come a bit over an hour in AC and drugged up again.....ahhhhhh.......



Now I just need to get through the night....and survive tomorrow

Fran and I are both wiped! She hurts all over. I know why I don't walk in the parks any more. My shin splints are acting up. I can hardly walk.

About to go in the phone store and try to sort out this mess. No sign of my phone at Disney yet.

When I get home I'm going to take half of one of Fran's norcos.

Staying at the Queen Mary Jan 7 and 8th.. Cruise is on carnival inspiration the 9th and return friday morning.
