New Soarin’ Across America to Debut at Disneyland and Disney World​

The new bi-coastal offering will showcase the United States—from sea to shining sea—highlighting some of the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes. This will be brought to life with the iconic elements that make Soarin’ unforgettable – the flight, the sights and score, even the scents! Walt Disney Imagineering is hard at work capturing more than a dozen breathtaking locations for the new flight.

Yes, I love it! If anything, they should change it up more or even randomize scenes. With digital projection, that is relatively easy to do. I wonder if they will reorchestrate the soundtrack for this version.

One of my new to me favorite shows is Aerial America on the Smithsonian channel, which I have said is similar to Soarin to my family when describing it, so I'm very excited for this. Might have to get a Florida resident ticket to check it out if that's offered next year.

I think this is a good move that will appeal broadly to middle America. There's been very little of this type of material in the last 15-20 years.

I do hope they manage to increase the resolution of the film and the projection. The existing films look quite dated. The existing Soarin drive mechanics with an increase in quality of the visual materials could be stunning.

I'm guessing it pops up earlier in the summer. DPB link here said their celebration will run Veterans 2025 thru 4th of July 2026 weekend. So, this will be more of grand finale situation but they'll want to capitalize on America 250 as it will be like the theme of travel next summer (unless you're a soccer fan of course).

Of note from that is military is going to see 2026 offers for parks and cruises in Nov. May 2026 will see America 250th merch. (Imho desperately needed merch, I'd love some america themed mickey merch but it's always so lame.)

It sounds like this version will all be real, not CGI like the World version. Hooray! Hope it sticks around for a very long time.
