This is my first post but have been reading for months!! I have been to disney many times over the years and consider my self a veteran, but I do have a question.. I have our trip booked at the Wilderness lodge which I am both excited and nervous about. I have a 8 am ressie at breakfastasaurs and want to know if I will get on EE early enough. I can make my family be fast eaters but I don't want to miss getting on the ride once and getting a fast pass while I ride on the safari. What do yoiu thnk?

Enjoy your breakfast. Get there 15 minutes earlier. When you finish, it will be just about park opening. You are half way to EE already at Breakfastosaurus. Head over, don't run, walk. :)

And welcome to the DIS, glad to see you here.

As the masses head to Everest, the Dinosaur ride will be competely empty. We did an 8:10 breakfast...were finished in enough time to be at the rope drop for the Dinosaur ride. Rode Dinosaur twice and then headed to Everest. Fastpassed Everest and then waited in the stand by line for only twenty minutes.

I am also interested in this post. I have similar plans. Although, I did not realize at the time of booking RES for breakfast that it was an early entry morning at AK!! Our res is for 8am and my biggest fear is EE running out of FP and not being able to ride? I wanted to ride a few times if possible :(

Friday, May 19, 2006: this was our experience:

DAK non-EMH (9am open)
Donald's Breakfastosaurus: 8am Ressie.
Enter for breakfast at 7:55am
Breakfast finished at 8:40am
CM "held" everyone at Bone-yard area (nobody allowed to go back into DAK)
At 8:55am, we were "released" to walk on past the Tarzan Rocks/Nemo Theater (still just I-beams, under construction) to the bridge where two CM's were holding a rope.

They watched across the water until they saw the hordes of folks (being led by CM's) heading towards Asia.

They speed-walked us back to EE, but the "hordes" from the front gate beat us to the standby entrance (Asia is the shorter route to EE than Dinoland).

But, one of our CM's walked OUR group directly thru the FASTPASS entrance (she told the FP CM that we were "coming through"!)

We were on the FIRST ride, in the second car of EE that day!

COOL!

Now, I don't know if this is STANDARD PROCEDURE (so don't COUNT on it to happen) but it was a PERFECT way to start our DAK day, that morning.

They won't "run out" by 9 or 10 or even by 11am... RELAX.

Option is to send someone (who is normally a "fast eater") over to EE with ALL of your park tickets to get FP's for everyone while the others in your party continue to eat breakfast.

The "round-trip" for the FP's will only take 10 minutes and (since the restaurant is a buffet) the FP-runner will be able to enjoy a hot meal when he returns.

:rotfl2: I do need to "relax"! Thats funny. I get all crazy over nothing. This is a good idea; running over to EE to grab some fast passes. If its only 10 minutes round trip from the restaurant, thats not too bad.
Thanks

This is the same thing that happened to us in June. It was actually funny. A lot of people waiting with us got too impatient and before the CM took us through the FP they ran over to the standby line. We rode in the first car on the first train that day! It was awesome!
