What do most people do about breakfast?
We plan on using our CS for lunches and TS for dinners. I would hate to use all our snacks for breakfasts. I was considering buying some bagels from the gift shop, and having them for breakfast, and then having lunch a little early to fit in a snack.
My DH is very much against us having sugary breakfasts so going down to roaring forks and getting a pastry, or donut wont do it.
Or, maybe I will pack some cereals for the kids and just buy milk. What do others do?

Thanks

Recently, there have been many more options for "snacks" in the giftshops. There's a thread on here that lists the new snack options.

Things like a loaf of bread, cereal cups, box of donuts, etc. These could work as breakfast, although I guess not the donuts for you.

Other healthy snack option-- fresh fruit at the resort restaurant.

It seems to vary by resort, so do a search for the thread and see what they have at WL.

I would recommend eating lunch early-- we were always too stuffed from lunch to want dinner. We would also share some CS meals-- I remember Cosmic Rays had a combo meal that was DEFINITELY enough for even 3 ppl! We weren't necessarily trying to conserve any meal credits, but there was just too much food!

Many times what we've done is eat a CS breakfast and a snack for lunch and then TS for dinner. If we did a TS for lunch, we normally didn't eat much for dinner.

We've gone twice on the DDP (once free, once paid) and always felt like we had a more than adequate amt of meals. Both times, we had CS left over and would buy the pre-packaged sandwiches from the hotel to eat at the airport. I guess we were never hungry enough for 3 "square" meals a day

Hope that helps!

Have a great trip!

We are not big breakfast people so we are happy to just grab a donut, bagel or piece of fruit. So, we're either using snack credits to buy boxes of donuts and other items or we'll grab some things at the grocery store when we make that stop. We're bringing a coffee maker as well (staying value) so we'll have coffee too.

There is no way we can eat 3 huge meals each day.

I agree acs meal and a ts meal will be plenty . Plan on eating cereal, donuts etc for breakfast most days with the occasional breakfast either TS or cs and those days have a snack either lunch time or early evening depending on ts that day. Will bring cereal from home buy milk and use sc for donuts

Last Fall the 3 of us shared an adult CS for breakfast, and a CS for lunch, then had TS early for dinner. DD usually had her CS later at night.

There was always so much food, that we seldom wanted our snack. With all the new snacks available now, I'm going to try to work them in. :)

Last year we used WeGoShop, but we were on a very tight budget & staying in an OKW villa. It was nice to have bagles, cream cheese, yogurt & cereal right there for our breakfasts without need to go out for it.

This year we're eating out more but I'm packing cereal, bagles etc and will buy the perishables/squishables at the store. It's really not worth the delivery charge to have wegoshop or any of the other places deliver just a few items and I won't be concerned with over-buying.

I tried to get my party interested in creatively using our snack credits to cover breakfast, and they kinda rolled their eyes at me and said let's just do cereal in the hotel room. The Dining Plan is so much food to start with, with lunch and dinner covered, we really don't need to worry much about breakfast.

with all the food on free dining. we plan on taking or buying a box of donuts and just eating a light breakfast at the hotel while were getting ready for the day. my kids are usually so excited that they aren't very hungry anyway.

once at the park we'll do cs for lunch and ts for dinner leaving a snack credit for a drink or yummy whenever we feel we need something.

We'll be on DDP and we're using those meals for lunches/dinners, except for 1 character breakfast. We'll be packing granola bars, cereal, fresh fruit. Then, we'll buy some juice, milk, cheese, yogurt and keep it in the fridge. This has always worked for us whenever we travel - except, we usually need to keep everything in a cooler if we don't have a fridge in the room. Breakfasts don't have to be big - just enough to keep us going till an early lunch.

Instant oatmeal (if you have coffee maker in the room to heat the water) is good. That's what we did. Cereal bars, instant oatmeal, pop tarts and milk from the gift shop.

Well if your going to go for three meals a day and are on the DDP, then pay for B-fast as its generally the cheapest to do OOP.

I'm sure it'll take a few days for us to get used to eating just a little breakfast as WDW (we usually try to "fuel up" as much as possible & eat a light lunch). Being on the DDP will be a bit of an adj. I'm going to order just a breakfast sandwhich or bagel each morning, and hope DH follows along after he realizes how much we will stuff ourselves later! We still have the DDE we bought last year, so that'll help us with the bkfast and refillable mugs (if we go that route). Highly doubt I can convince DH to do home brought & store bought breakfasts each day, so I may as well go along for the ride!
