Breakfastosaurus

Has anyone eaten at breakfastosaurus at Animal Kingdon and also what is the earliest time they do breakfast. Was the breakfast good? We plan to go there on our 1st wedding anniversary (31st July) and have the earliest breakfast, spend the day at AK (my fave park) and then have dinner at CG at 8.30pm I can't wait.

We ate there last year. Sorry, don't know what time breakfast starts as we deliberately chose 10am slot. Its a buffet breakfast, plenty of different hot and cold dishes (and some delicious pastries!!!) and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Its the only character meal Donald Duck is at, we all LOVE Donald Duck so it was a "Must Do" meal for us!!! Our server was brilliant, she kept playing jokes on my DD's, and the restaurant has a real "fun" atmosphere.

Congratulations on your first wedding anniversary, can't think of a nicer way to celebrate it than being in Animal Kingdom!!!

We went in December & by far it was our favorite meal. It was well organised, food was excellent - lots of variety & we in no way felt rushed. I think (but am not sure) it starts at 8am, but we ate later as we made use of EE and eating at 1015 meant we didn't need lunch. Characters were Donald, Mickey, Pluto & Goofy - dressed seasonally rather than in Safari which I understand is the norm.

We had the character breakfast at Restaurantasaurus in August and booked the earliest slot available (8.00a.m.) which enabled us to get a jump on the crowds as the park does not open until 9.00a.m.
We did have a wait at the gates as they would not let the cars in until 8.00am - a bit daft if you want to eat at that time!!
The food was the usual buffet fare and pretty good. The characters were excellent and spent time with each guest to pose for pic's and autographs. The whole atmosphere in the diner is lovely.
Would I go back again? - yes - but not this year as I would like to try one of the many other venues.
It's well worth the early start if you are going to spend some time in the park after breakfast - we had walk-ons on Dinosaur (not recommended after eating so much!!) - triceratops spin, Kali river rapids and then the place started to fill up.
Great day..... just talking brings back some wonderful memories.

I'm giving it a go in June and have an 08:00 time - really looking forward to it despite the many bad reports I've heard!

WE've eaten there & loved it and would def go again.

If you're planning to eat that eve at 8.30 I'd go for a later breakfast slot. We did & didn't need to eat any lunch. Just bought drinks.

It also meant we got on the main rides 1st when queues where shortest.

Thanks for the advice disney owl, but we tried that last year at MK and it didn't really work for us. BTW where in west yorks u from? I'm originally from Batley.
