Breakfastosaurus? What Is Your Opinion?

I just read the thread about the places you hate in WDW and Breakfastosaurus was listed a lot. I was wanting to try this one out. Does anyone like it?

I do. Have been there several times for breakfast, always fun, always good food. Try it out, bet you like it.

My family has gone to Donald's Breakfastosaurus for the past 2 years when we are at WDW. We have had great experiences there. The food is good, the characters are great and I also have found the staff to be very pleasant and attentive.

We are eating there this Sun 7/27. If there is anything different this time, I'll let you know when I get back.

We have eaten there 2x as well. Buffet is standard breakfast buffet. Good to very good. Character interaction was good. The biggest surprise? The service from the "servers" was very good...ours last time was funny as well.

This is the only CB that we do on every trip!

The servers are "characters" in their own right!

Good food, including Krispy Kreme donuts, and lots of character interaction.

We ate there last year during the holidays when they all had christmas attire, holiday music playing. (we are two adults...mid 40's). The food is ok...normal breakfast food...but the atmosphere is a blast. We had a great time. Everyone was so nice, including all the families around us that must of thought we were crazy...they took pictures of us with all the characters. Gotta love the characters, especially during the holidays.

We have done this breakfast 3 times in the past 3 years and have always enjoyed it. However, we seem to have a better time when we have an early PS. In reading many of the reveiws of this meal, that also seems to be the trend. Those who do not seem to enjoy it have had a later PS. We have had both and I prefer to have the first PS of the day, (time varies depending on when the park opens), mostly because I enjoy walking through a deserted AK. This has been our experiences, the best way to find out is to try it for yourselves.

I would say to go ahead and try it. I have done this with my family and friends and we had a great time. As stated prior, the food is your usual breakfast buffet (but very good). The character interaction is wonderful. Everyone in my party throroughly enjoyed this character meal.

Ok, thanks. I just needed a little reassurance. I thought it sounded like alot of fun, but was disappointed by all of the bad reviews I heard in that thread. I know it was a "negative" thread, but still, it showed up a lot. We'll definitely try it out.

Love it- we do it every trip. Last year we even bought the picture they took of before we were seated-and we never buy those things! We also always to AK our first day there, and start the moring with Donald's- it is the perfect way to get our trip going!

I don't usually buy them but it was so cute. Me DS and DB. I keep one of the smaller ones on my desk at work.

About the food and atmosphere - we enjoyed both. I would go back in a heartbeat. I thought the food on the buffet was hot and fresh (we had a 10:00 a.m. ps) and the characters were fun and came around several times during our meal. If we were going to AK during our upcoming trip, a visit to Donald's for breakfast would definitely be on the list!

Food is such a subjective thing though. I know many people rave about 'Ohana. I loved having a perfect view of the castle and fireworks but honestly that meal wasn't the greatest and it was $100 plus tip for the four of us. I don't think I'd be back anytime soon although my hubby thought it was pretty good. I'd rather spend that money on a fireworks cruise!

We were there last month and had a great experience. Servers, food, and characters all = excellent!

DH really enjoyed the made-to-order omlettes.

We had one of the last ps's of the morning and the food was still hot, fresh, and plentiful. In fact, once they had stopped seating for breakfast the servers began bringing platters of food around to the tables asking if we'd like more; we didn't even have to walk up to the buffet!

Characters were fun, with Goofy and Pluto being the most playful.

Give it a try - we loved it!

Totally agree with Ducklite---we have been there the last three trips. We will certain go again next year!!!

Our server was so funny ~ he had a little spray bottle of water and would have a great big fake sneeze and squirt some unsuspecting diner's arm... it was hilarious ~ well maybe not for "that" diner - till they found out it was only water

He snuck up behind me and scared the crap out of me with a rubber dinosaur puppet ~ my DD7 was laughing her head off.

There was no maple syrup on our table so I grabbed the big bottle off the buffet area ~ my waiter pointed this out loudly to the entire room ~ that I had taken the whole restaurant's refill supply.

He even took a photo of himself with my camera holding it upside down a snapping a pic of his face. He sure was a character - and speaking of characters - they were good too, as was the food and coffee.

Have fun at the restaurantasaurus.

We really like Donald's Restonasaurus.

The servers are really funny ~ Much in the same league to the servers at 50s Prime Time Cafe.

Food is good too.

You will have a great time!!!!

We were there for the first time in late June and we absolutely HATED IT!!!!!
The place was mobbed and the two lines for the hot food were SO LONG that we skipped going back a second time and settled for the cold side (almost nobody on this side).
Also found that there is way too much stuff on the tables so that there is barely any room.
Anyway, this is the only character meal that I would definitely not try again.
The staff was great and the characters also, but it was way too crowded to enjoy. (and our ps was for 8:10 am)
