We scheduled a breakfast at 8:05 at The Crystal Palace. Is it worth it or is there a better character breakfast out there? Is the food good?

Breakfast at the Crystal Palace is good. Also, it is nice to have a reservation before the park opens. A totally different feeling walking into the park without hordes of people on Main Street. Our favorite character breakfast is at the Beach Club (Cape May Cafe)--is it more laid back and relaxed.

The character interaction is great, atmosphere nice enough, huge plus getting in the park early. Food is as well prepared as any buffet, nice selection, we have always had good service. Only buffet we really say the food is okay. Worth it for us, but we go in understanding that it is a buffet and adjust our expectations accordingly.

If you're a big fan of the Winnie the Pooh characters it is defiitely worth it - we usually hit it for lunch, but we always enjoy CP.

We go there once on every trip, and last time we didn't even have any kids with us. The restaurant is quite beautiful, and who can resist Pooh?

Crystal Palace is one of my favorite places to eat and the food is quite good.

I happen to have an 8:05 seating myself in October and I'll be "solo". It's my yearly Mommy Only Trip and I love going there! Additionally I think it's so cool to be walking down Main Street and having hardly anyone there!!

I agree, we love to get ADRs for before the park opens...we have 4 character meals booked before the park opens for our September trip, with CP being one of them at 8:05am....great picture opportunities . We too enjoy Cape May breakfast a lot, in fact it has become a must do for us

This is one of our favorites and a must do every trip. If you enjoy the Pooh characters it is great!
