Planning on doing this before we head to port canaveral on our cruise. Was checking to make sure that they have mickey waffles on the platter they serve to you or do u have to request them? Thanks:thumbsup2

I didn't see it on the menu at allearsnet.com, you can check it out at this link! http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_ohb.htm We're going there also, on our last morning in December. We're also going to Chef Mickeys on our first morning, so the kids will get the waffles there, I guess!

Hope this helps!!

We had breakfast there about six weeks ago, and they were not on the platter. BUT after a bit, a man with a huge plate of them was walking around asking everyone if they wanted one.

Now, I'd seen pictures of them actually on the platter in the past, so maybe when they were preparing our platter, the waffles weren't ready to go yet.

They only seem to give you one at a time ... and they're really tiny. Our trip a few weeks ago involved a fairly large group, and my DH is a shy guy. We're doing 'Ohana our next trip alone, and he said he's not going to be shy about asking for more. They were his favorite!

I had them on my platter, dd didnt like them but I thought they were great. They arent large, think the size of a small ego waffle.

Another Ohana menu question for those who have been there - is there fruit or yogurt or something lighter than eggs & sausage available for grown ups? The Allears menu lists a fruit bowl available for the kids, but is there anything similar for adults?

Colleen, I'm almost positive they do have a light menu choice -

We went last year and declared it our must do from now on!! (esp since we didnt care for Ohana Dinner!)

We were there a couple weeks ago and the waffles were served by someone other than our waitress, separately from the big platter of food that was brought to the table. Everyone got a single small waffle and we never saw them again. A fresh fruit plate is also served. It had honeydew melon, pineapple chunks and red grapes. You could have a light breakfast meal with the fruit and cinnamon roll or pineapple bread. We got 2 fruit platters, because my kids would only eat the fruit and waffle.

We didn't get them on our platter, but the server brought them right after the platter. They were all you could eat, you just had to ask for more. My 6-yo DS had 3.

Thank you both! That is just what I was hoping to hear! :thumbsup2 I'm not a breakfast person at all and I don't eat most of what is on the Ohana breakfast menu on Allears, but that is the ONLY character meal my too-cool-for-characters 9yo is interested in so I made the ADR regardless of the menu. Fruit & sweet bread is a perfect breakfast for me, and I'm so glad to hear there is something that I'll like on the menu. :goodvibes
