I was just wondering when you can order room service for breakfast. Do you order it the night before? And, how about the All Hands on Deck? Is it possible to have it when you board the ship? Approximately how long does it take them to bring your food? Wait time, etc.

Thanks.

You will find room service breakfast "menus" in your desk drawer. You can select the items you want and hang it on the stateroom door. You choose the time you want it delivered. If you forget to do that, just call "in-stateroom dining" and it will be delivered. Whenever you want room-service, call that number again and it will be delivered (like the all hands on deck). We found room service to be very timely.

Mumph39 - I see from your signature that you just went on the Wonder in Feb. I'm sure you had a great time. We're going on the 7-day Magic Special Western cruise in May 2006. I wish it was this May. But, it will be here soon enough.

Thanks for the tip. How much snow did you guys get? I'm over on the Hudson River in Westchester just South of West Point. We got about 3-4" but the ice is what's killing us. 2 hour school delay today. Oh joy.

Anyway, have a great day and thanks for getting back to me.

Thanks.

Same here 2 - 3 inches with lots of ice. Took my husband 3 1/2 hours to get home from work last night. The kids have a 2 hour delay. With 2 in High School and 1 in elementary my little guy won't leave here until 11:00 the other 2 just left at 9.

Can't wait to hear about the special western. As soon as we can find a special Disney itinerary that fits into our schedule, I'm there! We are in on the new Disney Adventures that was launched for this summer. We will be spending a week in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons in Wyoming. They were looking for families on the Magic during the 2/19 Eastern cruise. We can't wait.

You'll receive a card that you can fill out and leave hanging on your door before you go to bed (or before 3am). You can select a time between 7am and 10am for it to be delivered. It's continental breakfast and the choices are:

Juices: Orange, apple & grapefruit
Breads & Pastries: Fruit bowl, danish, muffins, croissants, donuts, toast, english muffins, bagel
Condiments: jams, honey, margarine, butter, cream cheese
Cold Cereals: corn flakes, raisin bran, rice krispies, froot loops, cruncheroos, frosted flakes, granola
Beverages: whole, skim or low fat milk, chocolate milk, coffee, tea
Cocktails: $2.99 each until noon, Mimosa & Bloody Mary

If you are staying in a suite (category 1, 2 or 3), you will have a more extensive room service menu and hot breakfast items are available to those guests. Otherwise, the above menu is available on all mornings, except for the disembarking back at Port Canaveral.

We also found room service to be very quick. Each time we called they said between 30-60 min., and it was always much quicker than that. Perhaps the tipping is what gets it there faster. :confused3

We also got the snow (2 days worth) but no school delays or closures... To my kids dismay... :teeth:
