Breakfast reservations before DHS?

We are staying at the Shades of Green the 3rd weekend of April. Their buses do not run early enough and I understand Ubers can no longer drop off more than 1hr before park open. We used to just Uber everywhere but not sounds like less of an advantage. Are there any restaurants we could potentially make breakfast reservations for in the Boardwalk vicinity so we can have Uber drop us off there, enjoy breakfast and then walk over to DHS early ahead of the parking lot and skyline crowds?
Our ADR opens in 2 days. I tried searching but so many restaurants looks closed. Thanks!

I’ve heard of people being dropped of at swan and dolphin where no one asks if you have a reservation. Maybe that’s changed?

I second this for sure! I think it's one of the best breakfasts on property. It was the first reservation I made for my next trip.

DHS is scheduled to open at 10am but I suspect it will change to 9am when time gets closer like I see it has been routinely doing. So I understood that they have been letting people in 30 min early which would then make it 8:30am? Therefore would want to be at the gate by 8am at the latest? Looks like Trattoria al forno opens at 7:30am so that wouldn’t really work? Ale and Compass opens at 7am but even that might be pushing it because it is a bit longer walk?

If the main focus is being early to DHS gates, I’d dump the breakfast idea and just Uber to the gas station in front of Boardwalk, across the street from DHS. Then, walk to DHS from there.

Thinking that is the easiest idea as would need to be walking over no later than 7:30am for a 9am opening to be a step ahead of the parking lot and skyliner crowds? I assume park may open by 8:30am, 30 min before posted time?

no matter where you come from, they’ll still hold you at some point to reduce capacity at the gates. 730 from the gas station would work, but not the boardwalk as that is a heck of a walk.

We were dropped at Swan and Dolphin last month... Some of the very first to enter the park and first to board Slinky Dog Dash. We arrived at the resort 2 hours before the scheduled opening of the park. On another morning we had a 7:30 breakfast at Ale and Compass for a 10:00 park opening.

You could mobile order from the Boardwalk bakery and walk to DHS. We did that this week, my mom picked up a cup of coffee and drank it on the way to HS, we were one of the first ones in the park.
