I've finally decided against my better judgment to stay on-site after all this trip. That means that I now need breakfast suggestions for my twelve day trip.

We'll be staying at Coronado in January, so the Maya Grill will likely be our breakfast home base.

I'm interested in people's opinions about the following places:

Grand Floridian Cafe
Kona Cafe

And any others that might be interesting. I've already planned on going to Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace.

We went to Cape May last Aug. and loved it and are going back this month on our trip. We have heard that Trails End has a great breakfast buffet and so much cheaper than other places. We stayed at CSR and didn't like the Maya grill at all. Good luck there. We ate breakfast at Kona once and that was good.

Definately do Tusker House at AK. The food is incredible and the atmosphere is fun.
If you get a reservation for around 930am, go into the park, go grab fast passes for kilamanjaro which is almost next door, then eat breakfast, and when you are done you can do the ride with fastpass!

Kona is a must. :lovestruc It's delicious!

I would also recommend Fresh at the Dolphin.

Love Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's--both good choices. I actually didn't like Trails End as it take so long to get there from anywhere! The internal busses at Fort Wilderness can be a real pain sometimes. Maybe if you took the boat?

Kona is grrrrrrrreat! :) Of course try the Tonga Toast, but BF loves the steak for breakfast!!

I was always a big fan of Tusker House's breakfast prior to the switch to a buffet... . Disney does eggs/sausage/biscuits pretty well.

I LOVE CSR, but am not a fan of Maya Grill. Don't forget you have the Pepper Market there as well (food court) for breakfast. And CSR now has a pretty reputable "quick foods store" that has pastries and refrigerated stuff that you can use for grab and go breakfasts.

If you're a character person, it might be fun to try to get into the Princess breakfast at Akershus as well... .

I agree that Cape May is a good idea. Really low key and lots of fun. I've also heard that Spoodles has a good, hearty breakfast... .

We really liked Kona on our last trip. We ordered the french press coffee, lilikoi juice, pancakes, french toast and the poached eggs and ham hash. It was even better traveling to the MK from there. We had a rental car but if you do not have a car, I would recommend getting a taxi to the in the AM.

My all time favorite is Boma followed by Kona and Cape May
