Breakfast Reception

Hi.
I am looking for a place to have a breakfast/brunch reception. We want to have an S&D ceremony and I wanted to do the reception with them, but looking at the cost of food for their catered receptions I don't think we will be able to afford it. Our wedding will probably have 30-50 guests.
I'd really like a place where we can have brunch, as it's my favourite type of food. :)

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Cat Cora on the boardwalk has excellent breakfast.

I agree--they do have a good breakfast, and they're reasonable too (well, relatively--it is still Disney property :flower3:). Unfortunately, I read today that they are closing in September and (supposedly) a new restaurant will take their place.

Not sure when the OP is getting married, but if it's before September, definitely check out Kouzzina.

Good luck!

Brooke

I'm on a similar quest, brunch is definitely my favourite meal of the day :) Looking at the possibility of an escape wedding in November next year and would love to do a character brunch at 1900 Park Fare or chef mickey's but with the escape ceremonies starting at 10:00 and last seating for breakfast at 11:30 don't think we'll make it from SBP :(

Currently searching for later brunch alternatives lol. The wave does look nice!

You should look into Fresh restaurant at the Dolphin. It's a pretty restaurant. They offer a brunch buffet and different juice concoctions and they can supplement with some family style salads if you want. They have a semi-private room that I believe includes a veranda. We almost had our reception there, but our guest list grew too big and we ended up with a catered lunch instead.

DF's family loves the breakfast at Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club - it's an a la carte with a buffet option. Not sure if the restaurant can accommodate the OP's guest list, but I don't see why they couldn't for an Escape wedding size.

That sounds really nice, I'll take a look. Thanks.

How large was your group?
