We're doing lunch for 2 reasons. 1) We're on the DDP and lunch has more "value" then breakfast. 2) I don't want to spend all our good morning touring hours eating, we'll grab a bite in the room and hit the parks then eat when the day is warmer and we're ready for a break.

We did Tusker House breakfast and we had an awesome time. We had a pretty early ADR and were able to make rope drop. The park had just opened and we had a head start on the Safari

We did the breakfast and really enjoyed it. That is one I'd do again quickly. The food was great, the buffet NOT packed/crowded (like CP can get) and the characters were fun. I also found service as a bit more attentive here. We did buy the picture with Donald from the outside - it came out well. The wait - not so great though. Only downside.
We loved the breakfast we had at Tusker house! Lots of photo ops, great food and the entertainment was interactive and fun! My kids were handed bongos and got to join in the fun, dancing around the room with Donald, Daisy and Mickey Mouse. That b'fast is one of our favs!
We did the Tusker House breakfast this past Nov/Dec. It was good and since we had an early reservation, we got out of there and right onto the Safari.
Another poster said that it wasnt crowded, but it sure was when we went. So crowded that you could easily stand in the initial food line (down the sides) for 10 minutes.
I'm a huge fan of breakfasts! Just try to make sure you don't schedule it on an AK morning EMH hours day. If you can get an 8 a.m. ADR, you can easily eat, see all the characters and be right at Safari when the park opens.
I have not done lunch, but will say my whole family really enjoyed breakfast. It was really good, with a lot of options. I know a lot of ppl like an early reservation (before park opening), but we got there at rope drop, did a couple things and then had a late breakfast res ~ treating it as our lunch.
one of our favourite places for lunch, we never miss it
have not done breakfast at TH, but plan to have dxdp next time and do park breakfast brunches with ADRs prior to opening and then 2 credit dinners in the early evening
We like the breakfast but we love the lunch there. We haven't had lunch there since before the characters. Now, that the characters are there, it will be an added bonus for us. We can't wait to eat there in a few weeks .
