My DD5 and DD3 want to eat character meals at the Crystal Palace and at Chef Mickey's. I know that both restaurants serve breakfast and dinner. Are these restaurants better for breakfast or dinner?

the reviews i have read say both are better for breakfast, but this trip i'm trying them both, and for both meals.

I would recommend the character dinner. Our usual routine, which went fairly well, was to visit the parks early in the morning. We then returned to our room by 1:30 P.M., rested, and then went to a character meal around 5:30 P.M. At 5:30 P.M., the restaurant isn't overly crowded, the food is nice and fresh, and the children are pretty much under control.

We have only done Crystal Palace for breakfast--I won't pass up my puffed french toast and potato casserole; we've done both at Chef Mickey's and I would say we liked the breakfast just a tad better. Now we haven't been there in four years and it was dinner that year.

CP is good no matter which meal you choose. CM for dinner was horrible so I would pick breakfast over dinner there

Went to both for breakfast & dinner. I would go to CP for breakfast and definately CM for dinner:thumbsup2

We like to eat at both places for a "brunch" basically we schedule a late breakfast. We eat some cereal in our room, get to the parks at opening go on rides for a couple of hours then have a big breakfast/lunch combo. :cool1:

We are going to have to add more days to our vacation. I can't see any other way to fit in all the places we want to go for breakfast! :)

Thank you all for your thoughts. I have been hearing some negative things about CM for dinner. It would be wonderful to have dinner at CM because there are so many places that we would like to eat for breakfast. It would help free up our breakfast schedule a little bit. If anyone has specific reasons for not doing dinner at CM, I would love to hear them.

I have heard so many great things about CP for breakfast that I would hate to do CP for dinner. I'm also a little unsure of how my family would feel about the dinner menu at CP. If anyone has any thoughts that would change my opinion about dinner at CP, I'd love to hear them too.
