Breakfast Options????

OK we are staying at the Poly, I thought there would be counter service available like the food and fun center we enjoyed when we stayed at the Contemporary, but no. We really didn't want to eat a formal sit-down breakfast everyday, but we have younger children who need more than a couple of cheerios in the morning to eat, what are our options?? The kids get so excited at the parks, we really have to make breakfast substantial because they may not really touch their lunch. Other than taking the monorail to the Contemporary, anywhere else close by to have counter service breakfast?? Even if it's not at a resort, is there anywhere at AK or Epcot?

Yes, Captain Cooks at the Polynesian IS counter service.

There is also a counter right by the monorail stop that serves coffee specialty drinks, fruit, muffins, Mickey rice crispie treats, etc..

But you should try Kona at least once....great food, service and it is fast. The prices aren't that much more than counter service either.
