Breakfast options at Regal Palms

Those of you who have stayed here, can you tell me what options we have for breakfast, other than eating at "home"? Does the onsite restaurant serve breakfast? If yes, is it good, expensive, etc.?
Any other restaurants in the area that serve breakfast?

Hi Freyja: Unfortunately, there aren't really options for breakfast...from what I remember. But to tell you the truth, I never even checked. I think the restaurant at the pool area opens for lunch.

There is a Publix right there that we just stock up on breakfast goodies. But I know what you mean when you want to eat out one morning.

There is a Cracker Barrel down the road a bit...maybe 5 miles?

Forgot to mention...the food at the resort is basic but very good and reasonably priced. Typical stuff like salads, burgers, chicken tenders, pizza.

There are all sorts of restaurants down the road on 192.
Here are some map links:
This first link is the first mile of 192 as you turn onto it from 27. Looks like Dennys and McDonalds are your only breakfast options there. These would be the closest options.

This second map shows a Golden Corral, Wafflehouse and Dunkin Donuts. Even though it looks far away on the map, it isn't. You could stop at one of these places and then hit the Sherbeth Road shortcut to the parks. You can see it on the map.

Just past the Sherbeth Road shortcut is Ponderosa. They have a breakfast buffet for $3.99.
