1 morning we are planning on doing a b'fast at Chef Mickey's w/ a TS credit. I know it's not the best use of a TS credit, but why pay if we have it to use.

Thing is, I've been thinking about this Tonga Toast and it just sounds soooooo yummy. I'm thinking maybe we'll go there on our other day of "rest" to start the day. Since it's not a buffet, as I understand DDP, we'd just get juice, tea/coffee and our entree. Is that correct? Seems like they should at least let you add an egg or bacon w/ the Tonga toast order or those Macadamian nut pancakes. Do they??? Otherwise, I'm guessing we'd be better off to pay OOP for this meal and use the rest of our TS credits at various lunches and dinners.

Just wondering if anyone has actually ordered at an alacarte type place on the dining plan for b'fast and how it worked.

Thanks!

Tonga Toast does come with your choice of bacon, ham or sausage. But I would say since it is available at the CS place I'd go there. Breakfast for the most part is a waste of your credit since the meal will only be about $13-14 plus tax and tip OOP. (8.99 TT, 2.69 juice and 2.29 coffee=about 13.98 plus tax @.90 and tip @2.55=17.43)

Looks like Tonga Toast is indeed available at Captain Cooks for only $4.49 plus tax--I'd say that is a better use of OOP funds!

You guys are awesome! Thank you so much. We'll head to the CS restaurant, enjoy our Tonga Toast and save our TS credit for another meal maybe at Epcot. Thank you thank you thank you:goodvibes
