Breakfast on MGM day?

I've noticed that there's not alot for breakfast around.
We have a PS for Spoodles, we've never eaten there. I'd like to know about your experiences there and where you eat on MGM days.

We at at Chef Mickey's on our MGM Day. We had PS at 8:15 am and were at the bus at around 9:15am. We arrived at MGM at 9:30-9:40. We didn't mind not being there at opening but that's just our opinion.

on MGM days, we stop at the Boardwalk Bakery, or we just grab a quick meal at ABC Commissary in MGM.

How about the Cape May Character Breakfast at the Beach Club. That is our favorite breakfast. Afterwards you can take the boat to MGM.

Depends on where we are staying, but either a sit down at Olivias at OKW or a quick bite at the Boardwalk bakery.

I get coffee and pastries (they have big ones and miniature sized ones) at Starring Rolls. DS10 has in the past gotten fruit (including monster-sized grapefruit) from the cart near TOT.

Spoodles and Fresh in the Dolphin are two of our favorite breakfast places. Fresh is a buffet.

The MGM boat docks near both or you can walk to MGM along the canal.

I second Spoodles, Olivias, Boardwalk Bakery (their pastries are To Die For), but man, we loathe the abc commissary.

We usually walk around for hours afterward going, blech, why did we do that.

And we had to eat there about 3 times before it made our permanent blacklist, because it's handy.

You can smell the boardwalk bakery before you see it in the morning when they're cooking, and, oh, I'm making myself hungry now...

That is exactly what we usually do, Chef Mickeys on our MGM day. I dont feel the need to be at MGM at opening, like I do for other parks. Since the shows dont start right away its usually a waste for us to get there so early (DH & I FP TOT & RNR later on,the kids dont ride them).
So we try to get an 8:00am PS at CM, we are usually on th way to MGM by 9:15 and arrive around 9:30.
