Where would you eat and at what time? Would anyone visit a park after breakfast? Leaving on ME at 12:00 P.M.
Thanks,
Marianas

We drove, but on the last day had breakfast with Mary Poppins at the Grand Floridian, then hit MK for a few hours.

We ended up eating at Pop on our last morning, left all of our bags with the hotel, and then we headed over to Epcot for a couple of hours. Our ME pick-up time was noon as well, and by leaving Epcot at 11:00 we were fine.

On our morning of departure we are just going to have a lazy morning at the resort. Leaving is so sad.

We are going to hit Chef Mickey's on our last morning before we leave. Maybe we will get enough magic to hold us over until next time!

We have a tradition that we always end our trip with breakfast @ the Cape May Cafe @ the Beach Club ( we always stay at the YC or BC) with the characters on departure day....

We always end our trip with a character breakfast too. We go to a different resort one each time. We don't go to a park on the last day though because we hate to waste a whole day's ticket on a couple hours. We'd rather save it for a full day on the next trip.

We try for a late departure flight out 7 or 8 pm, so we can leave for the airport around 4, go to breakfast at BC, or Poly,, based on where breakfast is, we try to hit Epcot, MGM, and make MK as our last park for the trip, and as the OP has said, its always sad leaving.

We like to catch one last character breakfast, then just come back to the resort to swim/do last-minute shopping/play in the arcade/walk around & take photos of the resort/use up our left-over snack credits, etc. We put wet suits in big zip-locs that we just toss in our carry-ons, pull wet hair back into a ponytail, and grab ME to the airport.

We are eating our last breakfast at the Poly this yr. with lilo and stitch, then going back to the hotel (YC) to do some swimming, mabye I will hit the boardwalk or DTD to do last min. shopping.. Then we always eat a farewell lunch at Beaches and Cream with our whole group (11 of us), then catch the ME about 4pm... Leaving STINKS.

Then probably come home to the DIS and start planning for next Thanksgiving! LOL

We did Chef Mickey's for breakfast on our last day for our last trip. It was our first time there (since it's been at the CR), and we all said we will have to visit it again.

How about Magic Kingdom at rope drop....then ride your favorite couple of rides....one last trip down Main Street......then hop on the monorail for a late character breakfast at Ohanas or breakfast at Kona. :)

Our last two times, we have eaten breakfast at Trail's End at the Fort Wilderness Campground. :cool1: Then we'll either hit one park or do some last minute gift shopping.

We went to Chef Mickey's for breakfast with mickey and minnie then hit up dtd for a few hours before our me bus at 3.

We are going for a 7.30 breakfast with Stitch at the Poly, then we'll hit MK for a couple hours - it has morning EMH and opens at 8. Our flight leaves at 2.30 so I guess ME will pick us up around 11am or so. We wont take chances with the buses though, cabs only!

DME schedules pick-ups for 2.75-to-3 hours prior to departure. Also, each resort has 2 pick-ups per hour, 30 minutes apart, such as :10 and :40 after every hour, :20 and :50 after every hour, etc. Don't be surprised if your pick-up is scheduled for 11:30 or 11:40.

That being said, if Bell Services is storing your luggage, you should allow 15 minutes or so for them to retrieve it for you, especially doing this when you are, close to the 11:00 a.m. check-out time, when they might be very busy.
Another thing to keep in mind is that a DME bus stays for as little time as possible and will not wait for you. Once all the luggage and people are loaded, it's gone.

So would you suggest coming back sooner ? I was thinking we'd be done by breakfast by 8.30 or so which would leave us about 2 hours to enjoy the parks. It would be cutting it pretty close though.

No too likely 5 weeks in advance, ESPECIALLY since that'll be right around Christmas time. They probably have a better chance of having dinner with Walt Disney himself than they do of getting CRT breakfast ressies 5 weeks in advance.

CRT breakfasts typically sell out on the first available day, which is 6 months in advance (and even 190 days in advance, in certain cases). :sad2:
