Breakfast near Epcot

Really? I thought WS did not open until 11? What kind of breakfast do they have in France?

Yes, only Les Halles Boulangerie, the bakery in France, and Akershus are open before 11. The bakery opens at 9. It has typical carb-y deliciousness like ham and cheese croissants, quiches, bacon and cheese rolls plus different types of sweet croissants, eclairs, tartes and more decadent pastries and mousses.

Thank you. At moment we are looking for TS for breakfast (unless that changes). Les Halles Boulangerie is on our list as a possible light lunch though. I will take a look at the options you have all mentioned and decide. I would be happy with Akershus but am just not sure its fair to my son to have him attend two princesses meals (and they ended up being back to back with the ADR dates I could get)

We have thoroughly enjoyed Fresh at the Dolphin, but if I don't think they accept any dining plans. Also, in years past when Kona was going through refurb, the Poly offered a sit down breakfast in another building that was set up especially for that. You can also get the Tonga Toast at Captain Cook's counter service at the Poly.

I have a question about dining at Cape May on an Epcot day. OP, hope you don't mind!

Since Cape May is on the back side of EPCOT, where are you parking to do this, or how are you getting there (if, of course, you are not staying at an EPCOT area resort)?

That is the complication of Cape May and why I never recommend it as a pre-park opening breakfast unless you are willing to pay to valet park or take a taxi. Otherwise, you can't - or shouldn't, at least - use BC as your all-day lot.

Now, as a brunch around 10:30, that is another story. Park at Epcot and walk to BC. The walk seems shorter if you have broken it up with some activities in between beforehand. :)

Doesn't have to be on dining plan as one meal will have to be OOP

Our favorite breakfast on property is Boma, but I understand that the car trip isn't desirable. We had a great breakfast at Kouzzina when we stayed at Boardwalk in January and would definitely go there again.

That's what I'm trying to understand. Is Boma too far from Epcot that breakfast doesn't make sense? We will have use of a car. I've also heard great things.

Here's the thing...Animal Kingdom Park and Animal Kingdom Lodge are out in left field, so to speak. They are very close to the All Star Resorts, but pretty far away from a lot of the other resorts, and pretty far away from the other parks. Animal Kingdom Lodge has some awesome restaurants and is a BEAUTIFUL resort, but it is among the least expensive of the deluxes -reason being location, location, location. I would not consider staying there even though I like it so much because it is just too dang far from everything! It's all relative, you could be there in a few minutes in your car, I'm sure. But most people wouldn't waste the time to and fro on an EPCOT day. We love Boma (and a lot of people do!), but we always and only go there if we will be at Animal Kingdom park that day. That's just my feeling on it, but hope it helps!

I am sorta on the same issue as you are and what I found was Kouzzina on the Boardwalk and The Garden Grove at the Swan.. I was thinking one of these because we want to make rope drop and they both open early for breakfast giving plenty of time to eat and hit EPCOT prior to rope drop. Plus, it seems like you can walk-in as they are never crowded in the mornings and the food looked great and reviews were good...

..but we are probably going to eat in the room, hit EPCOT for rides in the morning then snack around the world.. thats the plan for today anyway. lol.

Kouzzina closes permanently on September 30. No news on its replacement yet but it unlikely to be open in the October/November timeframe.
